Today, marks our 100th Month of being together. Yes! Wohoo... 72 months of bf/gf stage + 28 months of married life = 100 Months of Happiness and Unconditional Love.

Year 2006

Dear Honey,

It's a roller coaster ride being with you for the past 100 months. I know our relationship is not perfect but believe me, I love this crazy ride. Thank you for everything, as in EVERYTHING! I can't imagine my life without you, susme ikaw lang ang nakatagal sa pabago bago kong ugali. I remember the day nung una tayong nag meet personally, grabe! totoo pala yung kupido. Parang may pumana sa puso ko at nainlove agad ako sayo. Naks!

Ang dami na nating napagdaanan but still we're together. 21 years old palang ako when we first met pero you told me that you want to spend the rest of your life with me. Naisip mo talaga yun?

I really thank God because he gave me the right man for me, thank you honey for staying with me all the time, thank you for understanding my mood swing, thank you for cheering me up when I'm down, thank you for being my lifetime partner, thank you for being a good father to my daughter, thank you for supporting me in whatever I do, thank you for being a good provider for us and for taking care of us. Thank you for your unconditional love, thank you for being my best friend, my number 1 fan and my forever travel buddy.

You and Baby Rhian are the greatest gift that I received from God and I will be forever grateful how blessed I am to have you both. I may not be a perfect wife for you but I promise you one thing, that I will be at your side for better or for worst, in sickness and in health, till death do us part.

Again, Happy 100th Monthsary Honey! I love you to the moon and back! post signature post signature

June 24, 2012 marks our last monthsary as bf/gf since we’re getting married this July 24 exactly on our 6th year anniversary. Wow! Parang kailan lang nililigawan palang nya ko, ngayon ikakasal na kami.. Hehe.

Okay so let me share you how we celebrated our special day, though it's a special day but we spent it quite simple-ly. Since I stayed at their house that day doing some wedding preparations, when Ian hug me and said “Hon, pagluto mo ko ng spaghetti”. Wow! Naglalambing ang fiancé ko.. So instead to go out and do our usual merienda/dinner at the restaurant, I cooked carbonara and pizza roll for my love. We went to supermarket and bought some ingredients for our monthsary celebration. Well, this is my first time to cook Carbonara, hello Spaghetti kaya specialty ko kaya lang I want to make our last monthsary so special kaya ayun sabak agad sa pagluluto.. Ian searched for the ingredients and procedure on how to cooked Carbonara while I’m so busy preparing the cooking stuffs that I’m going to use.

While I’m busy in the kitchen, Ian is also busy doing his task (Itinerary for our honeymoon).  After 1 hour, natapos rin ako sa pagluluto. Weeee..  While serving our food, I crossed my fingers and prayed “Sana magustuhan nya”, so syempre before anything else mawawala ba yung picture taking.

Carbonara + Pizza Roll = Happiness

As per Ian and his mom, masarap naman daw yung carbonara ko although kulang sa alat since I forgot to put some black pepper. Haha. Overall, my grade is 90%.. Haha.

For our dessert, half gallon of Selecta Overload Rocky Road.. Wow!

Our monthsary celebration continues when Ian decided to have pictorial, namiss lang nyang gamitin yung camera nya.. Haha.. So he set-up his things like a studio with matching umbrella, flash and tripod and here are some of our crazy moments during our pictorial.

Happy 71st monthsary.. ♥

Ako - San tayo titingin?
Ian - Sa may flash para consistent yung tinitingnan natin.
Parang nalugi naman tayo dito

Wacky Pose daw

So being able to be together on this wonderful day, it's already all that counts. Had a great merienda, doing our wedding preparations, had great times together, that's all. I love spending my whole day with my fiancé !

Time flies so fast talaga, I can’t imagine that this month I will be Mrs. Villareal na.. Mixed emotions ang lola mo, happy, excited, nervous, sad basta di ko maexplain.. What I know is that I’m so thankful kay God that I already found my one and only TRUE LOVE. I'm so proud of us!

Every 24th of the month, we celebrate our monthsary together either out of town or food trip. But since in less than 2 months we will get married, we decided to put out of town out of our list (tipid mode ba!).  So Ian opted to do our usual dinner date, he asked me where I want to eat but I replied that anywhere is okay with me as long as I’m with him. (cheezzy).  Well, as all of you know one thing that makes Ian and I so compatible is our similar taste with restaurants!

Ian has been waiting to have a chance to eat at Bulgogi Brothers in Greenbelt (may nag tsismis sa kanya na masarap daw dito! haha), as Ian texted me that we are going to eat here my first impression was “ang bastos naman ng restaurant name.. haha”. So right after my window shopping, Ian fetch me at The Landmark and so our feet ended up making our dinner choice for us, leading us to Bulgogi Brothers. I don’t have any idea about this restaurant; this was my first time to hear this place so I am so excited to try their specialty.

Before we enter the restaurant, we borrowed their menu and review it. A very nice waitress approaches us and helps us to understand better what they offered until finally she convinced us to try their foods. We were ushered in, settled into one of the booths, and went through the menu, looking for the familiar must haves and not-so-familiar must tries Seeing the interior design of the place makes me feel comfortable. I love the light brick and dark wood interiors plus a very eye catching Asian painting on the wall. (Sorry, I wasn’t able to take pictures, busy kc sa pagbabasa ng menu.. Haha)

Pose muna bago pumasok.. :p

While reviewing the menu, the waitress set down the Tea of the day – Kyul Myungja Cha “ Cassia Seed Tea”. It stated that this tea is good for eyesight, eases headache and improves liver function.

Complimentary Tea

As soon as we placed our orders, we were also served the appetizer which I found yummy; A complimentary plate of boiled sweet potatoes, corn and quail eggs. Unfortunately, we didn’t know that all the appetizers are refillable. Gggrr.. Sana nakahingi pa ko ng quail eggs. Haha..

It wouldn't be a real Korean restaurant without the vegetable side dishes now, right? We had around three servings of the Korean salad with the spicy "magic sauce". Well, it is also their free appetizer and side dishes. Free Salad, Kimchi, kangkong and eggplant, I guess. Wow!

I give Ian the authority to choose our orders (since napakapili nya sa food!) Haha. Ian opted to try Dubu Steak, fried crispy dubu (tofu) with teriyaki sauce and bean sprout. Best ordered with Bokbunja Bohae.

Dubu Steak (6pcs) Php 245.00

I simply loved the crispy tofu with sweetish teriyaki sauce and topped with beef and bland bean sprouts. The best way to eat is to take a piece of tofu and top it with a little beef and bean sprouts. The combination of textures and flavors was just divine. The veggie steak had a nice crisp bite on the outside, which gave way to the soft, silken tofu on the inside. We were both really pleased with this appetizer.

Next in line is the Unyang Style. A famous royal cuisine Best ordered with Maechousun. Actually, Ian chose this is simply because it is heart-shaped! Haha.  (Na attract ang fiancé ko sa design!)

Unyang Style (6 pcs) Php 595.00

And as part of the restaurant service, the attendant cooks the beef in front of you. O kita mo sosyal! This minimizes your chances of smelling like barbecue.  It can get a bit smoky though; but no worries, the place do have good ventilation somehow plus a very nice and accommodating staff.

Smile :)

Finally our last order arrived, the Gwangyang Style Bulgogi - a seasoned beef with sweet sauce served with bean sprout, sesame leaf and green onions.

Gwangyang Style Bulgogi Php 595.00

After seeing our orders, we were shocked! Ang dami pala nating order! Di naman tayo gutom nyan ha..

Happy Couple.. ♥

Haha.. Overall, I really love their foods, it’s awesome! Actually, sa daming food may take out pa kami.. :p
(Sorry guys, cellphone camera lang gamit dyan, bigat  magdala ng SLR.. Chos! Nag explain talaga.. hehe)

It's a rocky road that leads to true love
Littered with bumps and humps on the way
But what you're heart wants is worth fighting for
Making the bond you build stronger each day

While we've faced a number of starts and stops
We have finally gotten it right in the end
We are making a pledge to not only love
but to spend our lives as each other's best friend

In a very short time we'll be exchanging our vows
each of us can hardly wait to say the words "i do"
the only thing we need to make our happiness complete
is to know that we'll be sharing our joy with you...

Happy 70th monthsary honey! Iloveyou so much! ♥

Happy 62nd monthsary!

September 24, 2011 Saturday, Ian and I decided to celebrate our monthsary at Mall of Asia. We planned to watch My neighbor’s wife but unfortunately it was replaced by other movie. We have no choice but to watch “Abduction”. After watching the movie, Ian opted to have our dinner before going to his driving class. I suggest trying Tokyo Café again because I really love their crepe.

As soon as we enter the restaurant, the cozy and warm ambiance welcomed us. The staffs are very accommodating and attentive, they don’t have a pen and paper to get our order instead she remembering everything. Wow! Ian ordered the Chicken and Cheese Roll as our appetizer, deep fried chicken fillet stuffed with mozzarella cheese rolled in bread crumbs. I really love the melted cheese inside. It’s just heavenly I swear!

Chicken and Cheese Roll  Php 260.00

Then we added Chicken in a basket (Trio), Japanese style crispy fried chicken served with gravy.

Chicken in a basket (Trio) Php 210.00

For our dessert, he chose Choco Strawberry Crepe – strawberry slices with strawberry sauce, whipped cream, strawberry ice cream, drizzled with choco syrup.

Choco Strawberry Crepe Php 115.00

Overall, we really had good time in Tokyo Café and promised someday we will visit this restaurant again.

We finally got the chance to try this popular restaurant in Ayala Triangle, Kanin Club. Been hearing lots of good feedback about this restaurant and I promise myself to try it, so during our 61st monthsary, we decided to dine here and celebrate. Kanin Club offers modernized Filipino cuisines with a modern twist, meaning they added kick to the traditional Filipino dishes we’re used to. At first may seem familiar until it hits your taste buds and realize there is something different about that food.

The restaurant itself is too small just like other stall in Ayala Triangle; you don’t have any other choice but to wait in line during lunch and even dinner time. Thank God, Ian reserved our seats before I came in. While waiting, we decided to place our orders for them to prepare it and serve once we already have our table. The restaurant has a homey ambience just like a native Filipino house; the walls, chairs as well as the tables were made of dark-stained wood.

Seeing their menu is pretty wide-ranging selection of Classic Filipino dishes with a twist. I love their menu; it’s so nice to see the first page since it’s already stated the most ordered and chef’s recommendations to narrow down the choices. For appetizer, Ian chose Crispy Liempo, light and crunchy pork belly strips ready for dipping in three kinds of sauce. We couldn't stop ourselves from gorging on the thinly sliced, crispy pork strips. It has a once-you-pop-you-can't-stop quality to it.

Crispy Liempo Php 142.00

For the Main dish, we opted to try the famous Seafood Kare-Kare, the national dish interpreted in the key of “sea” instaed of meat; they put prawns, mussels, vegetable and squid which is slowly cooked in peanut sauce swerved with bagoong. A rich dish that all Filipinos love.

Seafood Kare Kare Php 298.00
I really love their own version of Kare kare, it has the right peanut and sweet taste that you like to keep coming back for more. I love how generous they are for giving us too much tahong, shrimp and squid. Yummy! I can say that having Seafood Kare-Kare was the highlight of our meal!

We also tried the Crispy Pork Binagoongan. Pork belly deep fried to a golden crisp, served in a bed of bagoong sauce. Sinful but heavenly!

Crispy Pork Binagoongan Php 231.00

We just ordered plain rice. This is better to appreciate the flavors of our food. For drinks, Ian opted to avail their bottomless Iced Tea while I chose to have their service water.

Bottomless Iced Tea
All dishes are good for 2-4 persons. The taste was good and definitely never failed my expectation.

Yesterday Ian and I marks our 56th monthsary yesterday and we decided to celebrate our special day by having a scrumptious dinner. Our company gave us Php 300.00 worth of Sodexo gift certificate last week as a post-Christmas give away plus we have a free Php 250 gift coupon with any item purchase on the chosen Bistro Group Restaurant (Friday’s, Italiannis and Fish & Co.,) upon signing up to their website. We opted use our free coupon & GC and dine at Fish and Co in Greenbelt 3., (Sodexho GC was accepted in this restaurant). It was our first time to dine in Fish and Co, and according to some reviews I read, they have nothing to say about this restaurant except for the fact that they really love their dishes although it was too pricey.

This restaurant has their own tag-line, “Seafood in a Pan”, which makes them famous. From the word itself, you will have an idea about their menu, more on Seafood! The pictures on their menu were so alluring; I love the yellow and royal blue color of the restaurant, very relaxing and cool in my eyes.

Table Settings

As usual, we were greeted by a courteous waiter and assist us in our table. Before this dinner, we have an agreement that our bill should not be exceed to Php1,000 for us not to pay anything. Haha.  Since Fish & Co offers more than the usual fish and chips we tried their specialties, Ian ordered for Sambal Prawns. According to the waiter who gets our orders, this is one of their best sellers; a succulent prawn’s sautéed in spicy sambal sauce served with seafood rice and steamed vegetables. If you want spicy, you'll enjoy this. One order has 9 mini prawns so it should be okay for sharing like we did!

Smabal Prawns Php 595.00

I chose Chicken curry, another spicy favorite! Morsels of boneless chicken slow braised in spicy red coconut curry sauce served with steamed long grain rice. It was a good thing that I enjoyed it, a little bit spicy and the curry was really good I swear!

Chicken Curry Php 295.00

Each table comes well with their dip; mayonnaise, garlic and chili that surely adds you cravings for food.

Dip with garlic and chili

For drink, Ian ordered for Pineapple juice while I go for their service water.

Pineapple Juice Php 100.00

Well, since we skipped our merienda and still hungry we decided to get additional cup of plain rice for Php 40.00. Haha. The prices of their dishes were expensive like other Bistro Restaurant, the servings were enough for one persons but the food was very good and delicious. Well, our total bill was Php 1,116.00, Whoa! Sad to say, we can only use one free GC for single transaction that’s why Ian needs to pay Php 566.00 cash! Haha.

♥ 4 years and 8 months. .♥

Honestly, with the quality and taste I’m sure it would be a place that we would come back again when we have extra money of course!  J

Every 24th of the month, Ian and I celebrates our special day or some couple called it as “monthsary”, we make sure that on this day we are together and remembers the first day as couple. But this month, since I promised him that I’m going to treat him on our monthsary, we opted to celebrate it yesterday, January 25 which fell on our pay day.

Ian suggests trying Brasserie Boheme in Legaspi St. since he already tried this restaurant few days before our monthsary when some of the big bosses arrived at their office and we were both game to try a new restaurant. He told me that this place is homey yet formal ambiance wherein we can talk privately. Wow! I’m so excited to visit this place and try their best seller, so I make our reservation few hours before our scheduled dinner. I fetch Ian around 6pm and go off in Brasserie Boheme.

As we entered the place I really surprised, Brasserie Boheme is cozy, very relaxing, well-lighted and romantic. The interior designs are high-class, modern, chic and fashionable with very comfortable couches. The wine collections at the end of the restaurant really impressed me. The table setting is well organized; the plates were inspired by Picaso provided with a cloth napkin plus candle lights to make it more romantic. Over all, I personally love the ambiance of the place, a perfect for intimate dinner for couple like us or even a business meeting.

Beside the restaurant is their small delicacies shop, where you can buy chocolates, cakes or even freshly baked bread. They also have a mini bar where you can chose your favorite French wines while enjoying the superb scenery.

We had the Menu Du Jour Prix Fixe, a mix and match of a complete meal from set menu of soup or salad as appetizer, various selections for the main course and a dessert from the numerous menu choices and coffee or tea for only Php 490.00 + 10% Service Charge. Whoa! We were trying a three-course meal at Gustavian Restaurant! What a perfect date!

For appetizer Ian chose Caprese Salad, mixture of mozzarella, tomato, basil olives with balsamic vinaigrette. The serving was generous complete with a nice presentation.

I chose House salad as my appetizer, a combination of mixed lettuce with smoked salmon, ripe mango in mustard dressing. The salads were very good, really fresh, the sweetness of ripe mango and saltiness of mustard dressing collides that makes my salad appetizing. Well, same as the Caprese Salad, I love how the chef presents it.

After we had our appetizer, the staff presents our main course. Ian chose Chicken Curry with rice and pickled lime. The curry was excellent since it didn’t have after taste; the chicken was tender and tasty. The fineness of rice was good, there are two sauces to choose from, one is sweet sauce and the other one is sour sauce.

Ian ordered Char-grilled Salmon for me with a runner bean with garlic and olive mash potato. The salmon was cooked well, juicy, mouthwatering and with the right texture. The mound of mashed potato is soft and full of chunks. Well, I’m not health conscious that night so I consume all carbo-loading without guilt.

Every after meal, no matter how full we are, my tummy always has a special room for desserts, so we decided to get our chosen cakes. Ian picked Chocolate Truffle Cake while I chose Mango Trifle.
The mango trifle consist of sweet mangoes, cream and crushed graham crackers. The taste was perfect and it wasn’t too sweet, sad to say that they only give a small piece of this awesome dessert. Waahh.

 Mango Trifle

 Chocolate Truffle Cake

Drinking cup of coffee or hot tea is the best way to end a meal. I’m not a coffee drinker since my mom didn’t allowed us to try it instead she require us to drink milk, Anlene specifically. Haha. Ian chose hot tea while I get brewed coffee, perfect combination for my Mango trifle. I appreciate the coffee since it was served hot and freshly brewed. It had a hint of sweetness even without sugar, but of course to make it yummier, I added sugar and milk.

Hot Tea

 Brewed Coffee

Eating at Brasserie Bohome’s which is a fine dining restaurant is really worth paying. It wasn’t as expensive as you’d expect, can you imagine a complete 3-main course plus service charge and we only paid Php 1,068.00. Now, we are planning to celebrate Valentine’s Day this year in this type of restaurant.
