Thank you 2017! Bring it on 2018!

Every year ends I make sure to compile or summarize the highlights of the year. This is to remind me on how I manage my life, how I overcome the problems that we encountered and how God shares us with so many blessing that we received mapa malaki man yan o maliit. So how do I describe 2017? Well, this year is like a roller coaster ride, there are ups and downs in the family but God is so good he doesn’t allow us to carry the burdens for a longtime. He loves us, he really loves us because Jesus gave us guidance to overcome all the trials and problems that we faced last 2017.

I will make this post short as possible, kung pwede nga lang 1-2 sentences lang eh pero mas maganda if I in details ko sya ikwe-kwento so please bear with me while I explain what happened on each events.

JANUARY

I celebrated my birthday with the family. It was a simple celebration but memorable. Oh by the way, my husband gave me new phone as his Christmas and Birthday gift to me. #SpoiledWife

Our dear panganay celebrated her 3rd birthday at Citadines in Makati. Swerte pa kasi libre lang sya since napanalunan sya ni Ian sa raffle last Christmas party nila in 2016.  Our daughter really enjoyed our stay here, the cake and of course the gifts, look at her face.

APRIL

We had a very short but sweet staycation at Tagaytay with the whole family where we celebrated my mom’s birthday and holy week.

We also visited the city of pines with the family. This is actually unplanned, yun bang isang araw pag gising namin eh gusto namin pumuntang Baguio, swerte pa namin kasi andun na Daddy ko so may nagbook na sa amin ng room. (Remember, this is peak season so pahirapan magbook and traffic!) I’m so happy because we were able to travel with my parents, way back 18 years pa yung last time na umakyat Mom ko dito kaya I’m happy na nadala ko ulit sya sa Baguio.

MAY

First timer at Club Balai Isabel. Yes! I invited my family to join in our company summer outing! Maganda pa nito, nakapag advance party na kami sa resort, kumita pa kami kasi kami ang kinuha nila for Photobooth. Kaya if you’re looking for Photobooth, you may check our FB page.

JULY

One of the major highlights of the year as last July we celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary at Legaspi and Misibis Bay. This is our 1st family out of town via plane and Rhaine’s 1st ride on the plane. Kaya super memorable to sa amin.

AUGUST

Our baby bunso celebrated her 2nd birthday at Jollibee. This was sponsored by my parents who promised us na lahat ng apo nya ipag cecelebrate nya ng birthday sa Jollibee. I’m so thankful to have parents who support and love us unconditionally.

SEPTEMBER

After 5 years of marriage, this is the 1st time that Ian and I became LDR as he needs to visit his parents in the US. Medyo mahirap at first since our kids are looking for their dad, hindi sanay ang mga bata na di nila nakikita at nakakalaro sa gabi yung Daddy nila. This is one of the hardest event in our family as my in-laws were diagnosed with the big “C”.

On the other hand, this is also the month where I joined the “Biggest Loser” edition in our office. I accepted the challenge to “Balik Alindog” program which helps me to lose weight and be fit again. Remember, ang taas ng bad cholesterol ko at overweight ako kaya need mag diet. Let’s see the final output by March kung may improvement or wala. Hihi (I will post photo right after this game)

NOVEMBER

Another major blessing that we received this year is where our home loan was approved. Yes! This is it mga beshies, na approved yung loan namin. Malapit na talaga kaming mag move-in mga beshies sa bahay namin.

This is also the month where we decided to join the bandwagon, "Essential Oils". If you want to know more about this powerful oil, click my review here

DECEMBER

This month is mixed emotions, bittersweet feelings for us. Our kids are sick right after the Christmas day, Rhaine was confined at Makati Med for 3 days, this is very heartbreaking for us lalo na sa akin to see my daughter in pain. This is the 1st time may na confine sa mga anak ko at talaga naman di ako makakain at makatulog for 3 days not until ma discharge kami. Thank God at nakauwi rin kami before New Year’s eve.

But before year ends, this is one of the most fulfilling days of our lives as we finally fully paid our remaining balance for our unit. After 26 months of hard work, pag hahanap ng extra income, pag titipid, and of course with the grace and guidance of our Lord, nabayaran narin namin lahat.

Now, we are very much ready for more challenges, blessings, and adventures for the year 2018! So let’s bring it on baby!
