2015 marks the 30th year of the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB).  To kick off the celebration of its anniversary, MTRCB formally launched its new infomercial on 23 February 2015 at 2:00 p.m., MTRCB Building.  Directed by renowned film and television director Jose Javier “Joey” Reyes, Jr., DGPI and conceptualized by Mr. Erlito “Lilit” Reyes, the infomercial features actors-spouses Ryan and Judy Ann Agoncillo in a typical morning situation at home.  In such scene, their depicted child picks up a word from a TV feature and asks the elders in the house what it means.

The infomercial aims to challenge parents and responsible adults to be aware of the media content our children are exposed to, and to be mindful of the MTRCB’s classification ratings.  Parents are also reminded that the primary duty in guiding their children as to the media the latter see still rests in them.

Details of the infomercial were discussed by Director Joey Reyes, Ryan and Judy Ann Agoncillo, Lilit Reyes and MTRCB Board Members Bibeth Orteza and Manet Dayrit, the latter being Co-Chairpersons of the Infomercial Committee.

The launch was culminated by the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the TV Networks and theater operators to ensure showing of the infomercial and to continuously empower the general public towards discerning viewership and thus, among other objectives, inform parents as to the media and entertainment their children may see.

The infomercial will be aired in all television networks and theaters nationwide starting 25 February 2015.

I’m so happy and I can't hide it... Why? kasi I won not only once but trice in the contests/giveaways. Hihi. Actually, when I was pregnant with Rhian, halos palagi akong nanalo sa mga online raffle then I realized lang yesterday na siguro kaya ako nanalo ng Ref last Christmas party sa office kasi I have no idea na preggy na pala ako kay baby bunso. Galing!

Sharing with you my latest prizes sa mga sinalihan kong giveaways/contests.

Hello Guys, how’s your weekend? As usual bitin na naman yung amin. Anyway, I make kwento kung anong nangyari last weekend. It was so tiring but at the same time super fun. We had our very first playdate with Bobadilla Family. Thanks Yen and Henry for inviting us to your home. This was actually resched because of conflict with our schedules buti nalang natuloy rin.

Yen, Biboy and Ian are good friends since college. They are also Rhian’s God Parents and we are also Liam’s God Parents too. I’m so happy kasi before kami-kami lang nag tra-travel nung time na bf/gf stage palang kami but now look at us usapang pampamilya na. Time flies so fast talaga and now we have babies na. Ang sarap lang ng feeling. :)

We set our playdate last Saturday around 3pm and since di pa kami nakakapaunta sa house nila, we just rely on what Biboy texted on us and of course mawawala ba kami kay waze. Hehe. We arrived at their condo 20 minutes after, ang bilis lang kasi nag skyway kami. Upon seeing the place, napa wow kami ni Ian and nangarap na soon magkakabahay rin kami dito. Malay mo manalo kami sa lotto db. Chos.  Anyway, I brought raw meat para ihawin namin, kaya lang according to Yen tinangal na daw yun near the pool area kaya niluto nalang nya sa kalan. Yen also prepared Spicy Tuna Spaghetti for our merienda. Super yummy.

When Rhian and Liam saw each other, naku halos hindi sila magpansinan. Hehe. After few minutes, we decided na magpunta na ng pool area wherein nagpareserve pala si Yen ng 1 pwesto near pool. According to them, 1st time lang rin nila ginawa yung ganon, mag swimming then mag memerienda. Ang saya lang super.

That day, super init pero super lamig rin ng pool but you know what our baby ate is so active as in parang hindi nilalamig. Nainis pa nga sya sa ama nya nung inahon sya kasi lilipat sila ng ibang pool.

So after 30 minutes, I decided na iahon na si Rhian kasi I saw her na nanginginig na sa lamig. But guess what, akala ko after ko syang mabanlawan eh, makakatulog na dahil sa pagod but I’m wrong, she still enjoy walking around the area.

Nag aagawan sila sa baby oil. :)

Around 9pm we opted to go home na kasi pagod narin kami, pagod narin sila Yen and si Liam.  Now looking forward for our next play date, this coming summer na daw para sulit ang binabayad nila sa association dues. Hehe.

I put smiley on picture, labas kasi yung tahi ko. Hehe. Sorry naman, di ko naayos tshirt ko. :)

On Sunday, we are schedule to have another playdate with Mommy Bloggers but sad to say we were not able to come, medyo nagloko si baby bunso eh, nagkaroon ako ng mild contractions kaya my husband decided na we just stay at home nalang  for safety reason. Namiss ko tuloy ang mga mommies and babies nila, good to know na meron pang kasunod na playdate next month. Yihiii…

Finally, I was able to write about our daughter’s 1st birthday party. Wohooo.. Actually matagal ko ng gusto gumawa ng review about the suppliers but I need to wait for the official photos from our photographers for about 3 weeks.

I told you before that we decided to give our unica hija ng bongang birthday party. Although some of our friends told us na dapat hindi masyadong bonga kasi di pa nya maaapreciate yun, but you know what Rhian really enjoyed her birthday party. It’s all worth-it na gumastos kami ng malaki kasi priceless naman yung mga ngiti ng anak namin. We had a birthday party last January 24 at Lakambini Hall in Villamor Airbase (will post another review for the event place), for the meantime I will share with you the birthday cake of our Baby Ate.

I only have one supplier in mind when it comes in customized cake/cupcakes – no other than Pamcakes by Mel.  Mel is the one who made Rhian’s mini cupcakes during her baptism, my 2nd wedding anniversary surprise to my husband and also my simple birthday gift to Ian. I really like her, in fact magaan ang loob ko sa kanya, open sya sa mga suggestions ko and not only that she meets my requirements and beyond my expectations. Even before pa sinabi ko na sa kanya na sa kanya ako magpapagawa ng cake for Rhian’s birthday and told me na just send her a photo/sample design na pag gagayahan nya, and so I did. At first nag negotiate kami sa price based on our allotted budget and she understand me kaya medyo may konting pagbabago sa cake but still I love her work.

Our theme was Candyland and look what she did.

1st layer -7" creamcheese pound cake in choco ganache..
2nd layer - 10" dummy cake

* All designs are edible except for the sucker sticks and #1 birthday candle.

Super nice db? Not only that, super yummy pa. The details of the cake were truly amazing! So if you’re looking for cake/cupcakes suppliers you can directly contact Mel.

We had a very productive weekend and super bitin sya as in. How I wish maging 3 days na yung weekend. Anyway, we cancel our Tagaytay trip because of some personal reason ng kasama namin, good thing may plan B kami on Valentine’s Day. Wohooo..  We opted to visit SMX dahil sa travel expo and sakto sya kasi may travel kami on March and until now wala pa kaming nabobook na hotel. :)

We arrived at MOA around 4pm and grabe sa dami ng tao. Since my husband is a Gold Citibank CC holder, we got a free entrance ticket then si tita nalang ang binilhan nya ng tickets worth Php 60.00.

As soon as we arrived at the venue, mapapa WOW ka talaga sa daming discounts and promos. From local to international hotels, meron din mga inooffer na super promo flights both local and international rin. Naku, sabi nga ng husband ko, kung hindi lang daw ako preggy with baby bunso baka nakapagpabook na kami going to Japan or Korea sa sobrang mura ng mga offers. And since we will just travel domestic mas nag focus kami dun. Boooo…

We roamed around the area and talaga naman nakaka akit yung mga offers ng hotels and we think not only once but twice kung saan talaga kami mag book ng hotel, finally after canvassing and reading some reviews about the hotel we are eyeing for, na book narin namin sya. Woohooo.. I don’t what to discuss more on the hotel we booked para surprise nalang sya, but believe me, super ganda nya sa photos (I hope maganda talaga pag punta namin. Hehe) based on the reviews naman, halos lahat naman positive yung sinasabi about sa resort since it was private! This time kasi we opted to stay away from the usual Boracay Crowd para may privacy kami kahit papano, we want to enjoy the fine white sand and “virgin” sand para narin kay Rhian.

Ah basta, I will discuss it more after our trip. Right after our travel expo experience, we watched pyrolympics sa labas ng MOA actually hindi sya kasama sa plan but since pag labas namin ng SMX naririnig namin yung mga fireworks nag decide narin kami na manood. I don’t know kung na enjoy ni Rhian yung fireworks kasi dahil sa lakas ng mga tunog nito, nagising sya. Hehe.

I told you na super duper daming tao sa MOA that night, maybe because Valentine’s day at the same time pyrolympics narin kaya halos lahat ng tao nasal abas, wala tuloy kaming makainan dahil sa haba ng pila. Kahit yung ibang mamahalin na restaurant mahaba ang pila kaya we decided na sa may Shakey’s near our place nalang kami mag late dinner. Imagine we had our dinner by 10:30pm. Boooo….

The following day, we attended the Sunday mass at The Landmark Chapel and right after we bought Rhian a new play area and walking assistant. I’m so happy whenever I saw my daughter’s smile, napaka priceless. Ganon ata talaga pag magulang kana, lahat bibigay mo sa anak mo makita mo lang syang masaya.

We had our dinner at Luk Yuen in Glorietta, post valentine’s treat from my mom. Super thank you mommy for the treat. We love you so much!

Overall, kulang ang weekend namin but still we are looking forward for our summer escapade next month. Woohooo.. It is also Rhian’s 1st ever plane experience kaya mas doble ang excitement ko. That’s it pancit. How about you? How do you spend your weekend? Share it with me. :)

P.S.
Sorry for the poor photos, I only used my phone camera here.

My husband and I had a misunderstanding recently and I'm so happy that we were able to fix it before heart's day. For the past 8 years and 7 months of being together (2 years and almost 6 months of married life), Ian is still the same man whom I met before, he still the man I said "I Do" the man of my dreams and I'm so touch pag may mga surprises or peace offering sya sa akin, meaning he still love me kahit na super sungit ko (due to hormonal changes - pregnancy).

I have no idea na pupunta sya sa office around 3pm with this bouquet of roses. I got surprised, actually nakikinig pa ko ng "Ikaw" ni Yeng Constantino when he arrived. (LSS ako talaga dito promise!) Speechless but super happy. Now, I really believe that a successful marriage isn't the union of two perfect couple. It's that of two imperfect people who have learned the value of forgiveness and grace.

If your husband makes you laugh, kisses your forehead, say's sorry, makes an effort, hold your hand, work hard, attempts to understand you.. Then believe it or not, he's quiet perfect.

Thank you hon for the flowers, you made me smile and cry at the same time. You never failed to suprise me. Advance Happy Heart's Day Honey. Rhian, Baby Bunso and I loves you so much!

Last Saturday, #TeamVillareal went out of town for a day. Actually, it was unplanned basta pag gising nalang namin ni Ian bigla namin naisip na sa Tagaytay mag lunch. O e di Wow! Haha. We left our house by 10am and arrived at Tagaytay proper around 1:30pm. O wag na kayong magulat, kasi naligaw kami. Haha. Instead na mag exit kami sa Sta. Rosa, nag exit kami sa Greenfield which is private property daw and hindi kami pwedeng dumaan. Okay fine. Sorry naman. :)

We had our super late lunch at Leslie’s; the restaurant was crowded when we arrived. Almost 2pm na yun ha but still super dami ng tao sa Leslie’s. And since going in Tagaytay will not be complete pag hindi ka nakatikim ng famous bulalo, yun agad ang order namin.

Right after our late  lunch, we opted to enjoy the scenery – overlooking Taal Lake. :)

Our next destination is to visit Picnic Grove. We were not aware that the place was ggggrrrrr… Dirty. Ibang iba na talaga sya compare the last time na nagpunta kami dito. Sorry for my words pero super dumi na nya, ang daming tindahan and ang masaklap pa is kalbo na yung grass kung san plan pa naman namin mag walkathon ni Baby Ate. Medyo disappointed lang ako kasi first time ni Rhian sa picnic grove and eto pa yung nakita nya. Well, moving on.. We roamed around the area and got excited when we saw little pony. You can take pictures with pony for Php 20.00 only, yun nga lang nakakaawa yung pony pag may sumakay na medyo malaki at mabigat.

Ian and I decided na magpapicture si Rhian with the cute little pony, but we got surprised ng natakot sya dito. Same with the horse/pony, she loves to ride at the carousel pero nung nakita na nya in person yung horse at nakita nyang gumalaw, ayun takot na ang baby ate.

Since ayaw naman namin syang pilitin to ride or kahit lumapit sa pony, we opted to walk nalang. Sabi sa inyo, kami napagod kakalakad eh. Hehe.

Walkathon with Mommy and Daddy
Daddy's Duty
 Bonding with Baby Ate
You will always be our Baby Ate.

After few hours of walkathon, baby ate is tired and fell asleep. That’s the time when my husband chose na magpalipad ng sarangola. Haha. But you know what, I really enjoy watching my husband enjoying what he was doing. Para syang batang nakawala sa hawla. Haha.

Sarangola for only Php 100.00

It’s already 7pm when we opted to go home na. We had our merienda at the car and got home by 9:30pm safe, tired but super happy. By the way, inulam pa namin nung dinner sa bahay yung mga natira naming food nung lunch so imagine ang dami nung bulalo. Hehe.

How about you, how’s your weekend? Did you enjoy it? Bitin ang 2 days no work noh, dapat siguro gawin na nilang 4 days work nalang para mas mahaba ang weekend. #JustSaying
