Weekend Story: Travel Expo + Family Day

We had a very productive weekend and super bitin sya as in. How I wish maging 3 days na yung weekend. Anyway, we cancel our Tagaytay trip because of some personal reason ng kasama namin, good thing may plan B kami on Valentine’s Day. Wohooo..  We opted to visit SMX dahil sa travel expo and sakto sya kasi may travel kami on March and until now wala pa kaming nabobook na hotel. :)

We arrived at MOA around 4pm and grabe sa dami ng tao. Since my husband is a Gold Citibank CC holder, we got a free entrance ticket then si tita nalang ang binilhan nya ng tickets worth Php 60.00.

As soon as we arrived at the venue, mapapa WOW ka talaga sa daming discounts and promos. From local to international hotels, meron din mga inooffer na super promo flights both local and international rin. Naku, sabi nga ng husband ko, kung hindi lang daw ako preggy with baby bunso baka nakapagpabook na kami going to Japan or Korea sa sobrang mura ng mga offers. And since we will just travel domestic mas nag focus kami dun. Boooo…

We roamed around the area and talaga naman nakaka akit yung mga offers ng hotels and we think not only once but twice kung saan talaga kami mag book ng hotel, finally after canvassing and reading some reviews about the hotel we are eyeing for, na book narin namin sya. Woohooo.. I don’t what to discuss more on the hotel we booked para surprise nalang sya, but believe me, super ganda nya sa photos (I hope maganda talaga pag punta namin. Hehe) based on the reviews naman, halos lahat naman positive yung sinasabi about sa resort since it was private! This time kasi we opted to stay away from the usual Boracay Crowd para may privacy kami kahit papano, we want to enjoy the fine white sand and “virgin” sand para narin kay Rhian.

Ah basta, I will discuss it more after our trip. Right after our travel expo experience, we watched pyrolympics sa labas ng MOA actually hindi sya kasama sa plan but since pag labas namin ng SMX naririnig namin yung mga fireworks nag decide narin kami na manood. I don’t know kung na enjoy ni Rhian yung fireworks kasi dahil sa lakas ng mga tunog nito, nagising sya. Hehe.

I told you na super duper daming tao sa MOA that night, maybe because Valentine’s day at the same time pyrolympics narin kaya halos lahat ng tao nasal abas, wala tuloy kaming makainan dahil sa haba ng pila. Kahit yung ibang mamahalin na restaurant mahaba ang pila kaya we decided na sa may Shakey’s near our place nalang kami mag late dinner. Imagine we had our dinner by 10:30pm. Boooo….

The following day, we attended the Sunday mass at The Landmark Chapel and right after we bought Rhian a new play area and walking assistant. I’m so happy whenever I saw my daughter’s smile, napaka priceless. Ganon ata talaga pag magulang kana, lahat bibigay mo sa anak mo makita mo lang syang masaya.

We had our dinner at Luk Yuen in Glorietta, post valentine’s treat from my mom. Super thank you mommy for the treat. We love you so much!

Overall, kulang ang weekend namin but still we are looking forward for our summer escapade next month. Woohooo.. It is also Rhian’s 1st ever plane experience kaya mas doble ang excitement ko. That’s it pancit. How about you? How do you spend your weekend? Share it with me. :)

P.S.
Sorry for the poor photos, I only used my phone camera here.
