Happy Day 31: The Aircon
Keep Calm and Summer is Coming!
Super Duper Init!!! Meaning, summer is official coming! At dahil dyan, laging naka open aircon namin especially during noon time and before going to sleep since we have a baby in the house. Naku, kawawa si Rhian pag nasa baba kami kasi kahit na naka number 3 na yung electric fan namin, it's not enough para mawala yung init and because of that lagi syang umiiyak and di mapakali.
So we decided to just stay in the room for the whole day and buksan ang aircon. We don't mind our meralco bill this summer, because what more important is the health of our baby.

Plus, mahimbing ang tulog ni Rhian pag nasa aircon. Hehe. Seeing her comfortable makes my heart happy.
Happy Day 30: Feeding Bottle
Since day 1, I am a full time breastfeeding mom. I have a goal na until mag 1 year old si Rhian, pure breast milk ang ibibigay ko sa kanya but since few more days to go and babalik na ko sa work (booooo!!!!), I need to practice her in a feeding bottle. I read some articles saying that when you're a breastfeeding mom, you should NOT use feeding bottle, instead use feeding cup because your baby may get confuse.
You may also start bottle-feeding at least two weeks before returning to work so that you can work out any glitches ahead of time because sicking milk from a bottle requires different mouth and tongue movements than breastfeeding, of course it may take more time for your baby to get used to the change.
So today, I pumped and put my breast milk in a bottle and let my husband experience feeding our baby. Ian also told me to be out of the house for a moment because our baby can still smell me even from a distance so she may know that I'm just in the next room.
In fairness, ang galing ni Rhian mag suck. Good Job Anak! Good Job Daddy!

Happy Day 28: Serious Rhian
A baby fills a place in your heart that you never knew was empty.
Yesterday post got 70+ likes in Facebook, meaning super daming natuwa and na cute-an kay Rhian. So today I tried to capture her smiling faces again, but surprisingly wala sa mood ang baby ko. Instead of giving me her killer smile, binigyan nya ko ng serious face.
Serious?!
Sorry guys, masama ata gising ng anak ko or should I say bitin pa tulog nya. We slept at 3am and she woke up at 8am. O db bitin na bitin.
Happy Day 27: Passport Photo

Today's goal is to get a good shot for Rhian's passport photo. But look, nag eenjoy ang bagets sa harap ng camera. Baby, no smiling for a moment please.

Now, do you agree with me na super cute at bibo ng aming princesa? Take note, she's only 2 months and 6 days old pala ha and marunong na talaga mag project sa camera. May future ka talaga anak! Manang mana ka talaga sa amin ng Daddy mo. Hehe.
Happy Day 26: Tummy Time with Dad

Ian and I are hands-on parents, we make sure to give Rhian's 100% full attention everyday. We want to express our unconditional love and care to her 24/7. Today, when I look at my cellphone I was surprised when I saw this photo. Waaahh.. nagtu-tummy time ang mag-ama ko habang naliligo ako. Ang duga! But you know what, seeing the two love of my life enjoying each other's company, hay! wala na kong mahihiling pa. PRICELESS! Thank You Lord!

We want to greet ourselves HAPPY 20th WEDDING MONTHSARY! Well, we really love to take pictures before going to sleep, naku ang saya kaya magpicture picture lalo na kung may baby na.
In this picture, look how cooperative our baby. Napahilig rin nya sa camera like us, kaya no doubt in near future maging model ang anak namin. Hehe. So kung before, dalawa lang kami ni Ian nag pipicture every monthsary, now tatlo na kami - ONE HAPPY FAMILY.

Sorry for the crappy pictures, madalas kasi phone camera lang gamit namin. Mahirap kung SLR pa since kailangan handy at easy to use, para isang click lang the moment we saw our baby's different emotions.

When you have your own child, you are so proud to share his/her pictures online and since we have 24/7 internet access and I have a very limited time to open my laptop because of mommy duties, I only use my mobile phone all the time to browse in the internet.
One day, I saw a post from a friend whom I follow on Instagram, I got curious and started to browse her profile until I realized that she join her son in the photo contest/community and it was featured on their IG account. And since I am also a proud mommy, I posted my daughter's pictures and try my luck. Thank God, napili rin kami.

I really love waking up every morning seeing my baby's face especially when she smiles at me whenever I call her name. Naku at 2 months old, napaka bibo na talaga ni Rhian and I'm so thankful that God gave us the greatest blessings ever.

Happy Day 23: Picture Picture
One lazy afternoon, I decided to put our little girl to sleep. It's very challenging for me na patugin ang isang baby na super kulit and since di pa sleepy si Rhian and I saw her active na naman, I decided na mag picture picture muna kami. At 2 months old, Rhian really loves to smile and pose in front of the camera, whenever we say "Baby, picture tayo" she immediately look at the camera and pause for a while. Imagine, super likot nya then all of a sudden titigil para magpicture. Naku, manang mana talaga sa pinagmanahan.

Our Journey Toward Parenthood: Priceless Moments
"I'm tired but I'm happy. I'm sick but I'm strong."
When you became a parent, sleeping for about 4 hours are precious. Honestly, simula ng nanganak ako wala pa akong matinong tulog, how I wish makatulog ako ng 7-8 hours, makapag siesta and makaligo at magbabad sa cr ng 1 hour, but sad to say 2 months na since I gave birth wala pa ni isa dito ang nangyayari. Oooppsss.. Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining, in fact my life really change ever since our little precious came into our life. Ibang iba talaga pag may anak ka na - Mas masaya!
Today, I feel so weak because of this cough and colds plus body ache but I need to be strong for my 5.27 kilos baby girl. I need to carry her whenever she cries, I need to feed her every 2 hours (sometimes every one hour), I need to wake up every hour to check her condition, I need to move fast as in wiwiwi lang kailangan mabilisan or else baka magising and umiyak si baby. I do it all by myself everyday since hubby is working na, pero pag dating nya from work, sya naman in-charge kay Rhian. I want to thank my MIL for helping me, sya naglalaba ng mga damit ni baby so concentrate lang talaga ako sa kanya.
Everyday is a new challenge for me, challenge in taking care of our little girl. But you know what, I'm enjoying my new role as a hands-on mom/wife because I discover something new from my husband and our daughter. Nakakatuwang isipin na isa na kaming pamilya na parang dati lang eh pinapangarap lang namin ni Ian, now here we are ONE HAPPY FAMILY.
Whenever I feel weak, I just stare at my daughter and found myself smiling. Nakakatuwa kasi na sometimes she smiles kahit tulog, just be patient na titigan sya. Well, di naman nakakasawang tingnan si Rhian eh. I love my life now, waking up seeing my two love of my life makes me complete.
