Last January 8, we had our family/pre-birthday pictorial inside our condo. Since our Japan trip was cancelled and we have no big party for Rhian's 7th birthday, I decided to have pictorial nalang to mark her another milestones in life. Iba parin syempre pag nag 7 na ang anak mo, pinaghahandaan talaga sya like 1st birthday, but due to our current situation wala talaga kaming magagawa. So para maging memorable rin sya and may makikita si Rhian pag dalaga na sya, we gave her half day pictorial courtesy of Frames Perfect Studios. Grabe ang gaganda ng shots! If you are looking for the best photographer, I highly recommend Dar Callado. You can send him message thru FB account, just search his company. :)

Sharing with you some of my favorite photos..

Happy Family ♥
Happy 7th Birthday, Rhian!

Today marks our 6th wedding anniversary
and
12th anniversary as couple/togetherness.

Congratulations to us!

I can’t believe that we’ve reached this far and I know we still have lots of things to do together. Actually I don’t have any plans to post about our anniversary, kaya lang may supresa na naman si mayor eh and I want to remember this event in the future at kung gano ka sweet ang asawa ko. Naks!

Our initial plan is to go out of town for two days just me and my husband somewhere in south, but unfortunately two of my bosses didn’t allow me to take a vacation leave because of the board meeting at dahil ayokong mawalan ng trabaho, kinancel ko leave ko. So we decided to look for best and romantic place for dinner instead, our first choice is the Spiral Buffet at Sofitel Manila but upon checking their rates, grabe ang mahal! OA talaga and since we are on a very tight budget we crossed out Spiral on our list. We checked Deal Grocer and Metrodeal for promos but none of them passed our standards (may ganon factor. Haha. Either malayo kasi sa place namin or pricey masyado).

Two days before our anniversary, Ian got sick because of the weather. We forgot to finalized what we are going to do on our anniversary, syempre I need to take care of him and most of the time nagpapahinga and natutulog lang sya. On the day of our anniversary, he decided to take half day leave para mas makapagpahinga sya, and as a wife I told him na to stay nalang sa bahay and magpadeliver nalang ng food for us. But nasa dugo na ata talaga ng asawa ko ang bigyan ako ng surprises every special occasion. So how he surprised me kahit na may sakit sya, ganito yan let me share you what happened. I arrived early at the office, ate my breakfast and fix myself before start working. Around 9am, our receptionist called and told me that someone is looking for me, since most of the time meron akong nirereceived na documents for my boss, I immediately went out and to my surprise may bumulaga sa aking bouquet of flowers. Wow! Just Wow! Pati receptionist namin kinilig sa mga pangyayari. I didn’t expect anything from my husband since he’s sick but he never fails to surprise me. My husband really knows me very well kasi alam na alam nya na mahilig ako sa flowers kaya eto he gave me bouquet of red roses on our special day. Ang sweet, right guys?! Alam nyo naman na most of the girls, love flowers and nakakadagdag yun sa pogi points nyo. Maniwala kayo! Haha.

So look at me today, blooming na blooming daw ako. Feeling dalaga kasi ako ngayon eh. Hehe.

After office my husband told me na di na daw sya papasok and susunduin nalang nya sa office. Wow! Haba ng hair ko, may pasundo sundo pa si mayor. Hehe. While inside the car, I really have no idea where are we going, until we reach Makati Shangri-La, dito daw kami mag didinner. Naks!

 May sundo ako today. ♥

Anniversary celebration is the main reason to spend on a buffet and so we’re having our buffet dinner at Circles Event Café. Yes! Buffet sya and hindi plated since napaka hilig namin kumain ni Ian and we love buffet! Good thing, they offer discount from June to July. This is our first time to dine in Makati Shangri-La so imagine our excitement when we arrived. At Circles Event Café, you can savour a sumptuous lunch or dinner buffet for only Php 1,250 net. You can enjoy an array of Asian and Western cuisines presented at live theatre kitchens and wide array of desserts.

My husband did the reservation; we were seated near the windows where the lighting is good. I loved the simple but still stylish table setting which brings warm vibe to the guests. The servers are very attentive, friendly and accommodating. Their food delicious but for me the dessert station was the best though. I will try my best to make review about this restaurant, but for now let me share with you some of our precious and memorable photos. Naks!

I believe that the greatest marriages are built on teamwork, mutual respect, healthy dose of admiration and of course, a never-ending pure love and happiness. Ian and I have strong foundations because we put God in the center of our relationship that’s why no amount of damage can break that particular thing. We are one team working towards constantly uplifting, supporting and respecting each other. Marriage doesn't make you happy - you make your marriage happy, kaya nga kami may #MarriageFirstFriday.

To end this post, let me share you one of my favorite quotes, A successful marriage requires falling in love many times, always with the same person” and “The root of every successful marriage is a strong partnership”. I’m so grateful and proud that I have a successful marriage, not perfect but we are perfect for each other. #Tamis

It’s been 3 months since our 5th wedding anniversary at Misibis Bay and the memories are still fresh especially the surprise gift that my husband did to me during our stay in the resort.  I’m not expecting any gift from my husband since he shouldered all our expenses for our escapade but I’m wrong, what he did makes me feel so blessed and I’m sooo kilig! Ang haba ng hair ko!

We started our anniversary day by having breakfast at the restaurant and visited the Cagraray Eco Park. We took a nap and on the afternoon we decided to explore the beach. I thought we will be having dinner buffet at night but I was wrong! I have no idea about his plan; in fact I decided to wear ordinary shorts and tshirt that night however I saw my husband wearing semi-formal, nahiya naman ako kaya nagpalit rin ako ng outfit that night.

As we were walking towards the restaurant, we passed by the beach. My kids are heading in the direction of the private set-up on the beach and I keep on calling their names kasi nga baka mya dumating na yung nagpa set-up nun. So here it goes,

Me – Rhian, Rhaine, wag kayo dyan. Di tayo dito, dun tayo sa restaurant.
Rhian and Rhaine: (Nagpunta sa may table at nag check kung anong nasa table)
Me – Anak, naku wag kayong malikot dyan. Magagalit yung nagpagawa nyan.
Rhian and Rhaine: (Umupo na sa upuan)
Ian: (nag vivideo na pala para makita yung magiging reaksyon ko)
Me – (talking to the waiter) Kuya, ang ganda naman ng pagkakaset-up nito. Ikaw gumawa nito?
Waiter – Yes po ma’am.
Me – Ang ganda grabe. Siguro family of four ang nagpaset up sayo nito noh kasi meron mga sand buckets, Beach Pails and Shovel yung ginawa mo.
Waiter:  (nag smile lang)
Me – Rhian, Rhaine! Let’s go, darating na yung may ari nyan cge kayo.
Ian: Happy Anniversary Honey! (sabay hug and kiss)
Me: (In total shock!) Wow! Yung totoo? Tayo ang mag didinner ditto?
Waiter – Happy Anniversary po. Nahihirapan na nga po akong sagutin mga tanong nyo kasi baka po mabuko si sir.

Kala ko magpro-propose ulit eh. Haha
Cheers for 5 wonderful years!

To my surprise, speechless ako for about 5 minutes. My husband keeps on talking with me kasi nakita nya kung pano ako nashock sa surprised nya. Can you believe na this is one of my dreams to have a private and romantic dinner at the beach? After 11 years, my husband makes my dreams come true! Sweetness overload!

We have a strict policy at home, No work-related during weekends why? because our weekends are meant for our kids. Remember, time spent with your children is never time wasted, it goes by way too fast. Ang bilis talaga ng panahon, kaya we want to cherish each moment with them as we never knew, they’re all grown up.

So if you’re asking me how we spend our weekend, let me photo blog it. Since we’re just few minutes away from Circuit Makati, every Saturday (basta wala kaming lakad let say birthday parties) dito nyo lang kami makikita, nagpi picnic! Yes! You read it right, we’re here during afternoon ilalatag yung mat, ilalabas ang hinanda kong merienda, mag memerienda then magpapalipad ng sarangola, mag ba-badminton or bike. Simple lang naman kami eh, simple buhay pero masaya. Sometimes, pag nalate kami ng gising sa hapon, we just visit Salcedo park and let my kids enjoy the slides and swing. In this matter, nakikipag interact rin ang mga anak ko sa ibang bata. Seeing my kids happy is one of the best feelings in this world. Do you agree with me?

I let my children experience and enjoy their childhood days, minsan lang naman sila maging bata sabayan mo na. This is also our quality time with the kids, you know naman working parents kami pareho and kulang ang oras namin sa kanila pag napasok kami kaya we make sure na pag weekend our full attention is nasa kids.

Every Sunday, we have our lunch at my parents’ house then attend Children’s mass at NSSH. This is also the day wherein we let our children visit the mall. Yes! Minsan mall hopping kami, sometimes we let our kids play at Kidzooona then we will have our merienda and dinner.

And sometimes our bonding continues pag uwi sa bahay. Matutulog na nga lang kami, magkukulitan pa at magpipicture taking pa. My kids love to pose in front of the camera, namana nila yung pagkahilig namin mag asawa sa photography. I’m sorry for flooding my Facebook and IG ng pictures namin, ganon talaga kami walang kahilig hilig sa picture. Haha. But if you want to check our latest photos just type our official hashtag "#TeamVillareal" (naks may hash tag talaga kami. hihi)

Family time is not a matter of convenience, it is a matter of priority. At the end of the day, we want them to grow up to love and be loved, we want them to grow up to love and be loved, follow their dreams, find success in life, be smart kids and most of all we want them to be happy.

"Sometimes you will never know the value of a moment until it becomes memory." – Dr. Seuss
