Hotel Review: F1 Hotel Manila

Last October 30, my family together with the families of some Mommy Blogger Friends was invited by F1 Hotel Manila for a staycation to try their relaxing suites and also to join in the House of Villains Halloween Party. Special mention to Mommy Jen for including us in the list of bloggers, ang bonga ng “Mommies Day-Out” natin.

F1 Hotel Manila is the first hotel open in Bonifacio Global City. It is centrally located within walking distance to corporate offices, shopping centers such as Market Market and Serendra. It is also a short drive to domestic and international airports and transit terminals – Makati CBD, Ortigas CBD and other major cities in the metro.  I heard this hotel before and I’m so excited to have a family staycation here, so when Mommy Jen told us that her friend is inviting a bloggers to experience the hotel, I got so excited. Wohooo.. Another staycation for Team Villareal, this time with our baby bunso na.

Anyway, we arrived at the hotel few minutes before 10am. Well, our call time is 10am for the registration and briefing of the itinerary during our stay. Since we are booked at the Fort Suite (naks!), we had our private and intimate check-in at the Premier Lounge located in the 5th Floor, we were welcomed by Ms. Twinkle Lacsam, Marketing Manager, Mr. Pau Esmedilla, Marketing Coordinator and the 24/7 Hotel Manager. (Sorry I forgot his name and he even forgot to give us his calling card.)

The Premier Lounge is available for all Suite and long-staying guests from 3:00pm to 6:00pm every day. They offer several snacks and drinks for your treats; guests are also given the privilege to access in their private library and board room.

After the welcome remarks from the General Manager, Director of Sales and Marketing and Marketing Manager, we were assisted at the F All Day Dining located at 3rd level of the hotel where we had our early lunch.

We are so fortunate to meet their new Head Chef, Chef Decker Gokioco and shared on how to cook one of their specialties –Almond-Crusted Salmon.

F All Day Dining offers wide array of scrumptious food both International and Filipino, halos hindi ko na nga natikman lahat sa sobrang dami eh. What I also like about the restaurant is that all the servers are very accommodating and mindful.

This candy buffet is “Heaven” on my daughter’s eyes. Pati pala si Ailyn (our former helper) enjoyed this area. Bumalik sa pagkabata and take note pabalik balik sya dito. Haha.

After the lunch treat, we were assisted in our designated room assignment. According to Ms. Twinkle, F1 Hotel has 243 chic rooms including 99 suites and 3 loft suites. I was surprised when we entered in our room; the Fort Suite is a one-bedroom suite with living room, dining area, mini bar and couch that can be converted into a bed that is good for 2 persons.  The place is very spacious, has a modern, classy and unique interiors, well-maintained and organized, kaya walang ibang ginawa ang panganay ko kung hindi maglakad at magtatakbo. Very homey kasi kaya akala siguro ni Rhian, bahay nya. Hehe.

While having our rest time, the management handed us Yema Tart for our merienda. How sweet. Everybody loves the taste of this tart; imagine may nauwi pa kami the following day.

My husband decided to roam around the hotel to check for the other facilities; we headed back in the 3rd level where the pool and the outdoor bar or known as the Canary Lounge located. F1 Hotel offers three swimming pools – Infinity Lap Pool, Lounge Pool and Children’s Pool.

Here you can also enjoy the breathtaking panorama of the Fort and Makati Skyline, in this place you can also experience the ideal for the romantic dinner date or simple family get-together.

After our mini photo ops, we went to the fully equipped fitness center and spa. The spa is very relaxing and calming ambiance, perfect for all the guests wanting to pamper themselves.  By the way, F1 Hotel gave us a super duper relaxing massage. My husband and I scheduled our massage after dinner around 9pm so we can have a better sleep and fresh for the following day.

My friends decided to meet up by 3pm for the afternoon swim. This is also the time for the kids to enjoy the pool, although the water is so cold, the kids don’t mind it. Basta masaya sila, happy narin kami.

By 7pm, we had our early Barbecue Dinner at Canary Lounge while enjoying the breath-taking night view of city escape.

This “Mommies Day Out” will not be complete without the so-called “Chikahan”, so all mommies behind this staycation stayed at the Premier Lounge to chill, mingle and enjoy until 1am while the kids and our husbands are sleeping. (**end of day 1)
