Hotel Review: Crimson Hotel

August was a big month for Ian since he celebrated his 30th birthday! Wohoooo!!! Anyway, to celebrate his special day, we decided to stay at a hotel (staycation) as what we always did during special moments and also to celebrate our post 2nd wedding anniversary. Remember, we opted to cancel our out of town trip and staycation because Rhian was sick that time but now were going to have a little vacation at the Crimson Hotel Manila in Alabang. Wooohooooo…

Our 1st option was to book at Bellevue Hotel but after checking out the different option we finally decided to try out Crimson Hotel. Why Crimson? Because they offer discount and promos at the same time, it’s like hitting two birds with one stone. Ian booked directly at the hotel’s website where he availed the Crimson Months Package and uses the promo code (*GP6) for only Php 5,000++ which includes the following:

  • Overnight stay for two at Premier Room
  • Buffet breakfast for 2 adults and 2 kids (5 years old and below)
  • Relaxing 1 hour in-room couples massage

Alabang is now our favorite place for staycation and mall tour, although it might be a bit far but with the help of Sky Way and Waze, this place seems reachable to anyone. Thank God, my husband is now familiar with the area and since Crimson is just walking distance to Festival Mall and near SLEX, we easily locate the hotel.

When we finally arrived at the entrance of Crimson Hotel we asked the security guard that where can we park our car and proceed with our check-in, he told us that we need to headed for the parking area at the 4th floor and from there, use elevator to reach the 8th floor where the main hotel lobby is. At first, I must admit that I wasn’t impressed, ang dami kasing transfer unlike in Acacia Hotel, where we just drop off our bags and avail their valet parking but I was wrong, because when we went up to the 8th floor, I was stunned! It’s a WOW for me because the lobby was sooooo impressive!

I love the ceiling of their lobby!

The spacious lobby was simple but still very classy. I love the marble water fountain stands at the center which helps a lot in setting the mood. I once told my husband that we can stay here at the lobby for another night. Haha. Couches palang, pwedeng pwede ng tulugan, in fact we could not resist sitting test the yellow and orange sofas. Actually, we stay here for another hour after check- out.

Reception Area

I approached the receptionist at the concierge and gave my husband name but since they need a valid ID for the reservation, I just wait for my husband (who parked our car) to arrive. During our conversation, I asked the receptionist if the cake that I requested was already at the room, she said that it was already prepared in our room. (I called Crimson Hotel 2 days before our staycation and informed them that my husband is celebrating his birthday on the day of our check-in and I asked if they can do something special for him. Sabi ko nga baka pwedeng maglagay sila ng Happy Birthday notes sa kama para pag pasok namin, magulat sya. Hehe. )  Anyway, my husband give his credit card details for incidental deposit, they will reverse it as soon as we get cleared upon check-out.

Here’s our room for the night. Yahoooo…. Very spacious! Our air-conditioned room is equipped with king-sized bed, flat LED TV, DVD player, comfortable chair and spacious writing desk which are perfect for laptops and other gadgets. The room also has free high speed internet which was a major plus for us. Upload Upload rin pag may time.. ^_^

The bed and pillows were so soft and fluffy; the linens are comfy, clean, and super bango. Look, Rhian enjoying the comfy bed. The aircon was perfectly cool just the way Rhian likes it and the reason why we slept so soundly that night that we almost didn’t want to get up anymore. Haha.  Good Bye Stress!

Rhian is in the bed, that is why it looks already crumpled. She seemed to be enjoying it. Sarap ng pagkakahiga nya sa kama. ^_^

There are coffee and tea facilities (mini bar), Iron and board, bathrobes, bedroom slippers, hangers, safety deposit box inside the large closets that can fit tons of stuff and mini refrigerator which we didn't notice it until I was looking for the laundry bag. By the way, they don’t have any laundry bag unlike Acacia.. Booooo…

Let’s proceed with the bathroom. Compare to Acacia, Crimson don’t have a bath tub. Booooo!!!! I find it incomplete since my baby wants to dip in a bath tub. I actually called the receptionist if they can transfer to other room that has a bath tub (we are willing to pay more) but sad to say that the hotel don’t have a bath tub. Waaahhh.. Kahit mag upgrade pa daw kami sa pinakamahal na room, wala daw silang bath tub. #disappointed

Anyway moving forward, the bathroom was bright and clean. I love the marble flooring and the walls too. I love they have a vanity mirror, complimentary mineral water and complete set of toiletries. I also love the waterfall shower head, ang sarap ng pakiramdam pag bumabagsak yung tubig sa ulo, nakakakiliti. They also provided bidet and phone too. Nice! Very useful should I say.

Complimentary Mineral Water

Our room has the huge glass windows which gives you a nice panoramic view of the cityscape. Unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture. Busy kasi kami sa panonood ng Disney Junior. ^_^

Relax na Relax si Rhian. Super nag eenjoy sa kama.. ^_^

After settling in, we decided to take a nap and visit ATC for dinner (will post that separately). We opted to check out the pool area the following day. I soooo love the swimming pool! It was divided into two – lap pool and kiddie pool. There is a Deck Bar that serves scrumptious light snacks and drink as well as towels. Yes, you can actually ask for towels before/after you swim.

Ready to Swim

I love the weave outdoor beds in the shape of Hershey’s Kisses; it’s like the one that I saw in Kris TV where they feature the famous Dedon Island with Nest lounger. You can just sit back and relax or read some books while your companions or love ones are enjoying a dip into the pool.

Team Villareal

Our stay at Crimson Hotel includes buffet breakfast for two that was located at Café 8.  We woke up early for breakfast and I was surprise to see the expansive buffet which offers a variety of choices, Filipino Food, Breads (Doughnuts, Pandesal, Ensaymanda, Soft Buns and etc), Pastries, Soup, Fresh fruits in season, Different kinds of ham, and Juices. You can actually ask for Hot Chocolate or Coffee if you want.

Overall, we had such a great and memorable family time together. Our room was so nice, service was excellent, staffs are very friendly and checking-in in this hotel was a breeze. I’m definitely recommending this hotel for families, couples or friends who just need to escape from chaotic world.

Oh by the way, Did I mention that Crimson offers free shuttle service anytime when going to the malls like Filinvest or Alabang Town Center or to any point in FIlinvest City. Nice!
