Hello guys, how are you? I hope you’re doing fine. I’m so sorry for not updating my blog, it’s so difficult taking care of 16-month old daughter while 6 months pregnant. Yes! 6 months na ko, ang bilis ng panahon. 3 more months to go, makikita na namin si baby bunso and we are all excited to see her. Anyway, I just want to share with you our latest summer escapade with my family. This was actually our 1st summer getaway with Rhian. Last year kasi baby pa sya so we opted to cancel our summer outing but this time since big girl na si ChingChing, we decided to plan a simple overnight outing in Nagcarlan Laguna. Why in Nagcarlan? Kasi we decided to visit our father’s hometown in Liliw Laguna the following day.
We had our outing last May 1- 2 at Green Nature Resort, we booked two rooms which is good for 4 pax. Our entrance fee is Php 250.00/person for adult and Php 2,500/ room/night. I don’t have any pictures of the room kasi sa totoo lang ang liit and not so good yung room. Hayz. Anyway, we arrived past 3pm at the resort, medyo traffic sa dinaanan namin and dami naming stop over. We roamed around the area to check the amenities and so far so good naman.
Preparing our merienda
On our first day in the resort, my husband, dad and our little baby girl decided to take a dip sa pool unfortunately mukhang nanibago ang bagets sa lamig ng tubig kaya wala pang 30 minutes inahon na ni hubby and opted to just play around the play area. Grabe! Ang saya ni Rhian, I can’t explain the happiness I felt that day when I saw her with her priceless and gigil smiles. We let her play and enjoy the playground, 1st time nya kasi ma experience yun kaya super excited ang bagets. Just look at the photos below and see how happy our baby ate.
I'm so happy Mommy!
Dad, let's go! I want to try the slide!

Before our dinner time, my husband and I decided na mag “US” time muna habang busy may nag aalaga sa bagets, we tried the wave pool near our room and I must say na medyo natakot ako baka kasi madulas ako, lalo na I’m preggy dapat careful sa lahat ng ginagawa, but my husband enjoys the waves. After few minutes, we decided to try the lazy river kung saan mas nakapag usap kaming mag asawa about our future plans for our family. I’m so happy kasi that’s the only time na nakapag bonding kami na para kaming mag bf/gf ulit. (Well, every night naman naguusap kami about our plans pero iba parin yung eksena sa may pool. Haha)
The following day, my dad cooked our favorite sinangag, dried posit (from Coron Palawan) and Tuyo. Grabe namiss ko yung luto ng tatay ko. I thank the Lord for giving me the best family ever! Right after our breakfast, we decided to go swimming. Aba dapat masulit ang bayad, sa layo ng byahe namin dapat mag enjoy ang bagets and tama ako na mas maeenjoy ni Rhian yung pool kasi maganda ang tulog nya. Let me photoblog her another milestone – swimming lesson with Tita Ninang.

Around 12:30pm, we left the resort and went to my Dad’s hometown. Sakto kasi Tsinelas Festival dun and take note this is my 1st time to experience this festival. Ang saya lang although super duper init, nag enjoy naman kami sa kakatingin ng mga shoes and slippers na inooffer nila. Btw, I bought 1 pair of sandals for me and 1 for Rhian.
Before we left, we visited our grandmother at the cementery. That week kasi she will be celebrating her birthday e di na kami makakauwi by that time kaya inadvance nalang namin, the afterwards we visited my auntie in Batangas and went home by 9:30pm.Super nakakapagod but you know what I’m so happy kasi nag enjoy kaming lahat especially si Rhian, looking forward to our next summer escapade next year and by that time kasama na namin si Baby Bunso.
How about you, how’s your summer escapade? Please share with me. J
