City Escape with Friends

Hi guys, how’s your weekend? Ako super bitin. Well, I wish for four days work and 3 days off para naman mas maraming magawa and mas mahaba ang time for family. Anyway, I just want to share with you our latest adventure, dapat hindi ko pa sya ipopost but I’m so itchy na maybe because after 13 years ngayon lang kami natuloy mag road trip! Imagine, 13 long years! College pa kami nun, kinasal na ko lahat at nagka anak, ngayon lang kami nakapag road trip. So can you imagine how excited I am na I share yung 1st ever city escape namin.

This trip was actually re-sched twice, di talaga mag match mga schedule namin but fortunately natuloy narin sya yesterday. Thank you Lord! Our plan is to meet at Gasoline Station in SLEX but unfortunately nabago sya last minute dahil sa isa naming napaka BAIT na kaibigan na na-late sa usapan, instead of 10am, he arrived at 11am. So imagine the hassle.. Ggggrrrr…. Anyway, moving forward.. Since our car is still under repair, we hitched at our friend’s brand new car! Yes! Bagong bago at wala pang 1 month! I’m so excited kasi mabibiyagan namin yung sasakyan nya plus hindi pa pagod si hubby sa pag dri-drive.

We arrived at Tagaytay by 2pm, so we opted to have our super late lunch at Merben Tapsilogan which is too far (for me) dahil sa traffic. Yes! 1st time kong naexperience ang matraffic sa Tagaytay! We placed our orders and started our never ending stories and laughter.

On our group, 2 palang kaming ang may sariling pamilya na and lahat sila still single until now. Well, according sa kanila, nag eenjoy pa daw sila sa pagiging single and in a relationship status. As a 1st time mom, I told them not to rush everything, kasi di biro ang magkaroon ng sariling pamilya and baby. You need to give up your night life for the sake of your child, you need to lessen your personal wants and focus on your family, etc. Nanibago rin sila sa akin, kung dati ako nangunguna sa pagkain, now I need to take care of my daughter first, and let my husband finish his meal bago ako kumain. So yung mga natirang food, ako na lahat umubos. Haha.

OMG! I really need to say this na it’s not worth it yung pagbili namin ng 1.5Liters na Coke kasi super duper mahal sya to the highest level. Imagine it cost Php 120.00 halos doble ng price in Manila. Booooo…..

Moving forward.. Right after our late lunch, we decided to visit the Palace in the Sky. Well, wala naman talagang special thing dun, but when you reach the top, hayz! Super sarap sa pakiramdam yung lamig ng hangin. Ang ganda ng view, overlooking Tagaytay City. This is also the time ng kulitan namin at walang katapusang tawanan at picture taking.

First Family City Escape
My Life  ♥
Friends for Life

Note: You need to pay Php 30.00 for the entrance fee. There are also jeepneys that offer Php 40.00/ride to reach the top. We opted to walk nalang para mas matagal ang bonding.

It’s already past 5 when we decided to buy pasalubong baka kasi magsara na yung mga tindahan, so we paid visit the famous Rowena’s and brought Ube and Barquiron. Nagkaubusan na ng tart and cheese cakes eh.. Huhu. Right after that our group opted to visit Sky Ranch. I’m so excited about this place but sad to say may entrance pa pala sya na Php 100.00 para makapasok then iba pa bayad sa rides. Hayz. So instead of paying Php 100.00 for the entrance, we opted to just stay outside and ituloy ang kwentuhan.

We didn't notice that it’s already 9pm and yet di pa kami nag didinner. Napasarap yung kwentuhan eh, so one of my friends suggested to have our dinner at Bag of Beans. I've been here during our 1st wedding anniversary and I must say that I really love the food (big servings) and the place itself. Sarap maka relax.  This is our favorite part of the day, ang uminom ng napaka init at napakasarap na Hot Choco!

Oh! I love the Hot Choco! Really refreshing!
Pagod ang Bagets.. :)

And since it’s too late na and kasama namin si Bagets na super tired na, we opted to go home na. Bitin nga eh and may pasok kasi kinabukasan. Overall, I really had a great time with my friends. This is also our first Tagaytay Trip as a family, 1st time ni Rhian gumala ng ganitong kalayo or should I say 1st time ni Rhian sa Tagaytay.. Hehe. Now, we’re planning for our next adventure, hopefully this coming December. Wag naman sana tumagal  ulit ng 13 years bago maulit to, dalaga na anak ko non if ever. ^_^

Note: Some photos are from my friends camera. Thanks Noel and Cha!
