I received a message from my dear reader and told me that she really miss reading a post about my home cooks. I’m so sorry because I wasn't able to write about my new recipes. Okay fine, I’m guilty! I’m so lazy to take photos while preparing the ingredients especially when I’m at our kitchen. Gusto ko na kasi minsan matapos agad at naninigas ang tyan ko pag napapagod and nakatayo ng matagal. #pregnantexcuses

Anyway, last month during the “bagyong maring”, my husband and I were stuck in our house for 3 days because of the heavy rains and flood within our area. The weather makes me feel so weak to the point I want to sleep all day, but at the same time I want to eat and eat and eat. Ang sarap lang ng buhay na matulog, kumain, manood ng tv and repeat again and again.  Since we can’t go out to eat, we consider calling delivery hotlines but we realized that our location is not passable due to high flood and considering the rider’s safety, calling 8MCDO or Jollibee Delivery is out on our list.

During rainy days you will agree to me that one of the best things that you can do is to EAT! So I decided to prepare my husband my home-made pizza roll. Although matrabaho sya pero super worth it pag naluto and super sarap. #nagbuhatngsarilingbangko

Ingredients:

10 Bread Loaf Slices (preferably Gardenia)
8 pcs Tender Juicy Hotdog (Regular Size)
Cheese
5 pcs Ham
Japanese Bread Crumbs
2 pcs Large Egg
Cooking Oil (for deep frying)

Procedures:
  1. Prepare your ingredients by removing crusts from the bread slices.
  2. Slice the hotdogs and ham into half lengthwise.
  3. Slice the cheese into sticks.
  4. Slightly beating 2 large eggs.
  5. Using a rolling pin, flatten the bread slices.
  6. Place a hotdog, ham and a cheese slice over the flatten bread then roll. You can secure your pizza roll with a toothpick or moisten all sides with a little water.

  7. Dip bread roll on beaten egg then coat with bread crumbs. Do the same with the rest of the ingredients.

  8. Put oil in a heated pan over medium heat.
  9. Fry for about 2-3 minutes or until lightly brown. (Take Note: Don’t overcook to avoid burning the breadcrumbs)
  10. Remove from pan and place over a plate layered with paper towel to drain excess oil.
  11. Serve warm with mayonnaise and ketchup. (You can also use garlic ranch for dipping)
  12. Enjoy!

Now, presenting to you the finish products – Home-Made Pizza Roll! (You can add bacon if you want.)

Easy steps right, you can try this at home anytime and for sure your hubby and the kids will love it!

If you’re an avid reader of this blog, you already know that aside from travelling we also love to eat and try something new. Two weeks ago, after we went to a birthday party in Blue Wave Macapagal we decided to visit Robinson’s Magnolia. Well, I've been wanting to go to this mall and try the famous Magnolia Flavor House. (Note: we often to pay visit a mall because of my situation. #preggy)

Off to Robinson's Magnolia

This is the first time that we explore the place; we’re both not familiar on how to get here so we just trust our journey to our dear friend “Waze”. After we parked our car, we headed at the garden area where the Magnolia Flavor House located.

Magnolia Flavor House ♥

Need to recall my memories about this Magnolia Ice Cream, as far as I remember this is the famous ice cream brand during 80s. Well, 1985 ako pinanganak pero may naaalala pa ko tungkol dito.. Haha. Let me share you about my experience with Magnolia products, I grew up drinking Magnolia Chocolait (yung nasa bottle pa sya) because my mom and dad include this drink in their weekly grocery. Can you imagine, my mom would recycle the bottles as water containers afterwards? Amazing! Now instead of heavy and big bottles, they now have Magnolia Chocolait in tetra packs. That’s all I remember with Magnolia products.

Moving forward, so being an ice cream lover we get to indulge ourselves with the creamy delight from Magnolia Flavor House. Even though the rain was so hard that afternoon, it won’t stop us to beat the heat even on a rainy day. Hehe. Well, hormonal change due to pregnancy, kaya double ang init na nararamdaman.. :p We went there during merienda time and expect that there was a long queue of customers who are also eager to eat and try their specialties. While waiting for our names to be called, I enjoy the ambiance of the place. (para akong bata na nagtatatalon sa tuwa ng makakita ng ice cream. Hehe.)

The interiors are cozy and brightly, para talaga syang pambata. It’s so nice, has a homey and inviting ambiance plus you have a chance to see the garden itself which adds to your pleasant dining experience. There are ice cream counters where in you can witness how your selected goodies made from and refrigerator full of take-home ice creams.

Although we were already full (as I said, we went to a birthday party before reach Robinson’s Magnolia) but we still wanted to get something for dessert. My husband ordered for Chunky Monkey which consists of 3 scoops of Magnolia chocolate ice cream, slices of banana and brownies finished with whipped cream on top with chocolate chips. Yummy!

Chunky Monkey Php 240.00
You want some?

Aside from serving cold and sweet ice cream and shakes, Magnolia Flavor House also serves some main dishes like pizza, burgers, sandwiches and pasta. We also add Ham and Egg Sandwich which includes Mayonnaise, ham, scrambled egg sandwich in two sliced white bread, served with potato wedges and dip.

Ham and Egg Sandwich – Php 155.00

Overall, Magnolia Flavor House is a perfect place for friends who want to hang out and catching up and for family gatherings too. Although the price was expensive since you are going to spend Php 150++ for 1 scoop of ice cream the most important is that they will definitely made you feel like a kid all over again and to remember memories from days gone by. I’ll definitely come back and try their other ice cream specialties.

This is it! Finally, I’m done with my CAS last Wednesday and Thank God for the positive and good result. Sharing with you guys the story about my CAS experience. Well, nakahinga kami ng maluwag ni hubby although we still need to go back after one month for another ultrasound.

Congenital Anomaly Scan or CAS is a more detailed scan which is often done from 22-24th week of pregnancy to check if the baby is developing normally. In other words, this ultrasound takes a closer look (detailed) at your baby every parts of his/her body and also the sonologist look at where the placenta is lying in your uterus. The procedure only lasted for less than 20-30 minutes. Well, this procedure is purely optional for expectant parents. But since this is our 1st baby, we decided to push through with this kind of test.

I was schedule for CAS ultrasound last Monday but the heavy rain started to fall and it didn't stop, so we decided to cancel and reschedule it some other day. I texted my OB about the situation and she advise me to come back on Wednesday morning. I call MMC for the new schedule and luckily there is one available slot on that day.

We arrived at Makati Med by 10:30am and surprisingly there’s no long queue of people inside the ultrasound room. The nurses accommodate us even though our schedule is 11am. As their standard procedure, only patients are allowed inside the ultrasound room not unless you’re pregnant and once the doctor advises the nurse to call your companion. I was instructed to lie-down in bed, relax and elevate my dress. That very moment, I’m so nervous and excited at the same time; there are lots of things that comes to my mind. I can’t control myself but to keep on praying and hopeful that everything would be okay.

As my doctor started to do the scan and hearing those words from her, my eyes literally lit up. It’s like waiting for the result of your final exam whether you passed or failed. As in lakas ng pintig ng puso ko..

Dr. Bustos – Nose - seen, Lips-seen, Palate-see, chin-seen………
Me – Thank God! (Breath out)
Dr. Bustos – Right hand –seen, Left hand-seen, Right foot-seen, Left foot-seen……..
Me – Thank God! (Breath out)

Sorry for the blurred photo, naexcite kc si hubby makita sa mismong screen si baby kaya di nya napansin nahawakan maiigi yung cp. ^_^

It was really fascinating to see my baby's eyes, nose, lips, fingers, toes! OMG! Buo na talaga sya and can you believe na nakuha nya nose nya sa daddy nya.. Super cute! My OB also showed us other parts like the 4 chamber view of the heart, the left and right kidneys, the brain, her head, her abdomen and even her genitals! Thank God everything was normal. All the parts we had to see were seen and features were intact. Our baby’s fetal weight is appropriate for gestational age, she has a good fetal heart rate which is 149 beats per minute, has a good fetal movement and lastly, no obvious gross congenital anomaly seen in this scan. Thank you Lord!

The only thing was we need to do again another pelvic ultrasound after 1 month to monitor ventricles. We really hope and pray that on our next ultrasound, the result will be normal again. Again, thank you Lord.

"Kung may #throwbackthursday and #flashbackfriday, ako magpapauso ng #selfiefriday. Hehe."

I don’t take selfies all the time; I just do it once and a while. So today, I decided to post my selfie picture every Friday. So expect all of you na mukha ko makikita nyo every Friday. Sorry walang pakielaman, blog ko to. Hehe. My friend asks me why Friday? Db pwedeng Monday kasi start of the week? Well, I simply told her “Kasi pag Friday feeling ko lagi akong blooming and I’m happy kc mag weekend na!” I think everyone of you is feeling excited like me, hello sino bang may ayaw pag Friday? Anyway, I started to capture my selfie photos when I got pregnant. I don’t know why, maybe because I feel na lagi akong blooming, not knowing na I’m having a baby girl. Then, the moment we found out that our baby love is a cute and healthy baby GIRL, aba mas lalo ata akong umarte! Yes! I can’t decide what to wear every day as in 1 hour na kong nakatayo sa harapan ng cabinet ko just to choose what kind of dress/outfit I should wear. Sometimes, my husband keeps on telling me, “kahit ano naman bagay sayo kasi maganda kayo ni baby naturally.” Napaka bolero talaga ng asawa ko! Or should I say naiinip na sya kakahintay sakin matulog kasi di ko ma close yung lights. Haha. Well, if you’re pregnant you will agree with me that one of the most difficult tasks that you experience is choosing the right clothes you will wear; lalo na yung ibang damit nyo is di na magkasya because of your bigger tummy. I told you before that I save my money for my baby stuffs and not to purchase any maternity dress/outfit.  Ika nga nila, nasa pagdadala lang yan.. Hehe.

Anyway, sharing with you my 1st post of Selfie Friday. (Disclaimer: Wag mag comment kung wala rin sasabihin maganda! :p)

Thanks to my mother-in-law for the dress and Karen for the earrings.

When I marry my husband 14 months ago, it feels like I am a Queen. Every day is a sweet learning process living with each other and our weekday mornings make half of me want to go to work full of inspiration while the other half of me just wants to stay at home with him.

Ours is not a perfect relationship, it has ups and down. I know every married couple also encounter some misunderstanding that lead sometimes to a big fight. So far, I’m proud to say that we haven’t experience a big fight and hopefully, if this thing will happen to us, I know God will lead us in the right way. As they say, you will not totally know your partner not until you live in one roof, even if you’re together for almost a decade it is so much different when you are married. We've been together for 6 years before we get married, there are times that I realized that Ian is so different during our bf/gf moments and now that he’s my husband. Well, I will not enumerate it one by one; I don’t want to say negative words against my husband because like me he’s not a perfect person and no one is perfect always remember that. But if you will ask me, I love his attitude now especially the way he treats me. Advantage rin ata kasi buntis ako.. Hehe.

Anyway, we had petty quarrel last week and for the first time I seek for our ninang’s advice on what to do. I don’t want to cry because it will affect our baby and I need to calm down and control my emotions. (Remember, all pregnant women experience hormonal change during this period). I follow all her advice and pray to the Lord for his guidance before I sleep. Our ninang promised me that she will talk to my husband the following day. So fast forward.. I usually at home before 6pm, relax and have some quality time with my baby before I prepare our dinner, that day I’m so upset because we’re still not okay. Hayz! But after few hours, my husband arrived. He kissed me and my tummy then he handed me this box of cookies.

Simple act but I almost cry because I really appreciate his effort. He said “I’m sorry” and I reply “Sorry accepted”. That very moment, I really felt that our baby is also happy because she keeps on moving inside my tummy. Siguro sinasabi ni baby habang nagtatatalon, “Yehey, bati na sila mommy and daddy”. Hehe.

While lying on our bed, we talked about what happened to us and promise not to do it again anymore. We need to be more patient with each other especially during these days. I need him to support me more for I encounter physical and emotional changes due to my pregnancy. I really Thank God for guiding our marriage and for our Ninang Lei who shows her support during this adjustment period.

I’m so blessed to have generous, lovable and loyal friends. They are so excited for our 1st baby to come out, halos kulang nalang hilahin nila yung January 2014 para lumabas na si baby eh. Hehe. Yes! Ganon sila ka excited! Well, I’m so touched with the concern they always show to us. Thank you friends!

Since all of you know that my family especially my mom believe in superstitions, since the day we prepare for our big day until the day of our wedding, super duper daming pamahiin to the highest level. And now that we’re having our 1st baby which is also their first grandchild on both side of the family, my mom is super duper worried about me and my little princess. I know the feeling that she’s so concern, of course anak nya ko eh and I really appreciate it but sometimes too much pamahiin makes us more worried because we need to be extra careful on the things we’re doing. One thing that makes me bother most is when she told me not to buy baby’s stuff not until I reach my 8 months. What?! Mom, that’s too late! Because for sure mahirap na kong maglakad lakad nun and budget wise it is best to purchase baby stuffs the moment you already distinguished your baby’s gender. We already knew our baby’s gender the last time I had my ultrasound on my 4th month.

The moment we saw our healthy baby girl, hubby and I are so excited to buy her stuffs. Super sarap kayang mamili ng gamit ng baby especially pag girl.. Kikayness db and masarap bihisan. But my mom reminds me about her pamahiin in buying baby’s things not unless someone will provide you or give you baby’s stuffs. O kita mo, pag bili hindi pwede pero pag bigay pwede. Waah.. Okay Mom. You’re the Boss.

So last Sept 8, when we attended to our friend’s wedding I got surprised when the host called my name and told me that I won on the games. Huh? E di naman ako sumali sa laro ha pano nangyari yun? Then, the bride who is my newest friend told me that I won because I was the 1st person to confirm that I am going to her big day. Haha. Ganon pala yun, kung baga early bird ang peg ko..Hehe.  Anyway, here are the prizes that I won.

Thank You Mr. and Mrs. JA Talampas

A week after, I received a text message from another dear friend and asking for my office address. Jack told me that she has something for me. Hhhhmmm.. I thought it was her homemade cheesecake but surprisingly, when I open the package I saw some baby stuffs. Ayyiii… It’s so cute! Lalo tuloy akong na excite kay baby and mamili ng gamit.

 I love my Daddy ^_^
Thanks Ninang Jack for these cute items.

Being surrounded by true friends is like winning in lottery. Money can’t buy happiness and the moment you feel that you’re important to them and they appreciate you so much, I swear! It is the best feeling that you should be proud of. Thank you Lord for giving us these kinds of people who love and support us no matter what happens. Thank you!

Pregnancy is exciting, but it is also emotionally overwhelming, uncomfortable and possibly sickening. Happy to say that I’m so healthy since the day I found that I’m pregnant - No morning sickness at all. Thank You Lord.

Ever since I got pregnant, there are lots of questions/queries that everyone always asked me. So I write the top 10 questions about my pregnancy, para naman di ko na uulit ulitin sagutin yung mga questions nyo. Hehe.

10. Question: How did you know that you’re pregnant?
Answer:   When I was schedule for another ultrasound for follicle monitoring. For more details click here.

9. Question: How many months you plan to have a baby?
Answer:    Actually, our plan is to get pregnant after our 1st wedding anniversary. But since God gave us this wonderful gift 3 months before our anniversary, we’re so happy! This is a blessing! Super Thankful talaga kami dahil di na kami pinahirapan pa ni God na magkababy kasi alam namin yung ibang couples nahihirapan mag conceived. Simple tip, just believe in God!

8. Question: Too personal to ask, pero saan nyo ginawa si baby? Hehe.
Answer:    Hahaha.. I remember one of my closest friend ask me this question, serious pa sya sa pagtatanong when she found out that I’m pregnant! Well, gawang bahay si baby! TAPOS! Hehe.

7. Question: Anong pinaglilihian mo? (Cravings)
Answer:    Hhhhmmm.. Actually, wala naman akong pinaglilihian. But as far as I remember, during my 1st trimester I really want to eat burger! Not just an ordinary burger but gusto ko yung sa Burger Machine with matching coleslaw pa. I already tried BK,MCDO, Jollibee, Wendy’s, Army Navy but still I really love BM. As in! Also, I think napaglihian ko asawa ko, because I really want him to be with me all the time! As in kahit na nakaupo lang kami sa sala, I want him to hug me and I keep on staring at him every time he slept.  So wag kayong magtataka, pag labas ng baby namin, hawig na hawig ng asawa ko.. Hehe.

6. Question: What do you want? Baby Boy or Baby Girl?
Answer:    For me, I really want to have a baby boy. Why? Because wala kaming kapatid na lalaki and I really want to have a son on my 1st pregnancy. Masarap kasi pag kuya muna ang panganay then girl naman yung kasundo para quota na db. Hehe.

5. Question: What gender is your baby?
Answer:    I’m happy to say that we’re having a healthy baby GIRL!

4. Question: What changes do you feel when you got pregnant?
Answer:    Changes? Ay super dami as in. 1st, naging x10 yung pagiging moody and sentimental ko, to the point na minsan umiiyak ako for no reason.. Oh well, I think because of the hormonal change. 2nd pee more than 20 times per day. As in ganon kadami kung pumunta ako sa CR, normal naman daw yun according to my OB. 3rd, medyo hirap na kong magsleep lately kasi super hirap humanap ng position na comfortable si baby. Usually, she’s so active during night as in magalaw sya every time na  mag sleep na ko, but I’m so happy because I know she’s healthy.

3. Question: Hindi ka naman hirap magbuntis?
Answer:    Hhhhmm.. hindi naman, actually di ko nga alam na 1 month preggy na pala ako last may. Hehe. I didn't experience morning sickness such as nausea and vomiting. Di rin ako mapili sa food kaya swerte ng asawa ko, di ko sya pinahirapan pa. Hehe.

2. Question: When is your expected delivery date?
Answer:    My expected delivery date is on January 26, 2014. But according to my research, I can deliver our baby 2 weeks before or 2 weeks after the expected delivery date.

1. Question: What is the name of your baby?
Answer:    Hhhhmm.. Even before we found out that I was pregnant, we already have the names for our future kids. We even separate names for girls and boys. But since we’re having a cute little princess, her name is RHIAN KELLE LUMBERIO VILLAREAL.

Rhian comes from my husband’s full name (RHoderick IAN) while Kelle comes from me (RacKELL).

I think I already answered all your questions about my pregnancy. If you have other questions, don’t hesitate to send me PM or leave a comment and I promise to give you quick and accurate response.

Since we’re both tired from our Tagaytay road trip, hubby and I took a nap at our room. It was superb feeling because we woke up around 7pm. Hehe. We refresh ourselves and dressed up for our anniversary dinner.

We called Fire Lake Grill as soon as we reach Tagaytay to reserve our seats for dinner. They require all customers to call first before heading to the restaurant. Driving around Tagaytay during night is so difficult especially if you’re first timer like us. There are no lights on the way, so you need to open your head lights and be active in your surroundings. So be safe always! It wasn't really hard to pinpoint the place; it's along the highway past the rotunda. When we get to see the Cliff House sign, we were wowed at the sight of it. There were a lot of restaurants there but the Fire Lake Grill Restaurant is right in front of the cliff.

Well, we decided to dine at Fire Lake Grill because according to some reviews, it is a highly recommended fine dining restaurant located at the exclusive Cliffhouse Tagaytay. It serves great food, fine selection of wines and has cool chill out music on the background. We reached Cliff House Tagaytay by 8pm and a very courteous waiter approach us and confirm our reservation. He headed us to our seats and handed us their menu.

Table Setting

The restaurant was not crowded at the time we get there so we took the chance to photo all the way! The place is really romantic, cozy and laid back. The interiors were refreshing to the eyes and at the outside you have a good panoramic view of Taal Volcano (During day time of course). This place is basically defines who we are. Naks!  The weather also celebrated with us that day, the cool breeze was just relaxing. I can say this is among the perfect date place so far! #kiligmuch

While waiting, one staff gave us complimentary bread and butter. Wow!

To start our dinner, my husband ordered for fresh pumpkin soup topped with roasted pumpkin seed and chives. The soup is so delicious! I’m not a fan of pumpkin soup but when I tasted it…. SPEECHLESS! The best soup ever!

Fresh Pumpkin Soup Php 145.00

For my husband, he ordered BBQ Pork Loin with fresh cilantro and tomato-japaleno relish, well nagutom ata sya sa pagkakatulog nya.. Hehe. All grilled meat items are served with vegetables of the day and your choice of a side dish and sauce. According to my husband, the BBQ Pork Loin is one of the most tasteful he had.

BBQ Pork Loin Php 585.00

I really love pasta and because I’m still full with our super late lunch, I opted to try their Penne Pasta. It was baked with broccoli, cream cheese sauce and topped with cheddar and Parmesan cheeses and slices of US Angus top blade. Well, the pasta was superb. Truly your money’s worth plus considering that the place is really serene and lovely.

Penne Pasta Php 310.00
Mango Juice
Happy 1st Wedding Anniversary! ♥

Overall, Fire Lake Grill offers the best food ever and the service was spectacular. The foods are relatively expensive given the quality of the food and the location.  Additional pogi points - the parking was spacious and secure as well.

Just a simple tip, Cliff House is the perfect date place at nighttime as the patio is splendid on a peaceful and colorful evening.

I am supposed to write this post last week, but instead I decided to absorb the things happened to us last Tuesday. I went to my doctor last September 10 and this visit is unintentional. I decided to consult my OB due to my contractions (naninigas yung tyan ko) I want to check if my baby is okay. I can’t concentrate with my work because I’m so worried about the condition of my baby. Ganon pala talaga pag anak mo na pinag uusapan, maiiyak ka na sa pag aalala ng sobra. I’m a first time mom so anything that I feel on my tummy, I consult it with my doctor. Mabuti ng magpacheck up lagi kesa naman magsisi sa huli.

I arrived at MMC around 4:30pm, as my OB called my name I immediately told her that I feel contractions for more than 3 days already. She instructed me to lie down and put my dress up so that she can check my baby’s heartbeat. The moment I lie down, I’m so nervous! As in! daming pumapasok sa isip ko, okay ba si baby? Anong nangyayari kay baby? I close my eyes and pray silently. After 3 minutes, my OB finally heard my baby’s heartbeat. Its 160 beats per minute! Thank God! My baby is okay!

But since my OB wants to double check if my cervix is still close, she recommend me to undergo TVS Ultrasound(TransV). At the time, my heart is racing. I called my husband about my situation and he was so worried about us. He left his work for a while to be there for me. Ang hirap, naiiyak na ko sa takot and kaba. I keep on talking to my baby na “ Baby, I hope you’re okay. Mommy and Daddy loves you so much! Be strong anak” while I whispered this message, I can’t control myself but to cry. I called my parents and they are so worried about us, I told them not to worry too much and I know that the result is positive.

We waited for about 1 hour and 30 minutes before the nurse call my name. As I lie down in the bed, my heart feels like it skips a beat and as my OB started the procedure and confirms that my cervix is still close, I felt so relieved. Thank God! My baby is okay. The doctor asked the nurse to call my husband to see my baby’s development; happily my baby is super active that time. Nagpakitang gilas na naman ang prinsesa namin.

Hyper si Baby :)

Another good news is that, my placenta is now on a high-lying position. Super effective talaga yung pag darasal and pagkausap kay baby. Although our baby is still in her breech position, my OB told me that the moment I reach my 9 months she still change her location and getting ready to face the world.

All of us feel so much comforted as the OB told us that everything is okay, there are minimal contractions but tolerable and because of that contractions, I need to lessen my work load  - less walk, less magkikilos, less using stairs etc. She ordered me to take isoxillan for 1 week and just rest. Hayz! Baby, pinag alala mo na naman kami ni Daddy mo. Wag mo na ulit uulitin yun ha. Basta sipa ka lang ng sipa kahit masakit, basta alam kong okay ka lahat kakayanin ko for you.
Baby Rhian @ 20 weeks

I also ask to undergo OGTT and TSH blood test because I gain too much weight. Worried lang si OB if I have Gestational Diabetes (is a condition in which women without previously diagnosed diabetes exhibit high blood glucose levels during pregnancy).  This is the worst blood test that I encountered! As in! I need to do fasting for 10 hours, then blood extraction every hour for 3 hours plus to drink a super duper tamis na soda. Can you imagine, last kain ko pa is 8:30pm (Sep 12) and it’s already 11:30am (Sept 13) di parin ako nakain.. Oh noh! But I always think that I need to be strong for my baby.

Thank God, all the results are negative in Gestational Diabetes. God is so good! My baby is healthy; Mommy is also healthy so Daddy is so happy! Thank you Lord for everything, for the blessings that we received, for being there for us and for loving us unconditionally.

Ever since I got pregnant, finding the right clothes for me is one of the difficult tasks that I encountered. Why? Every week I need chose what clothes/dress I should wear in office. Kasi halos 90% ng mga damit ko di na kasya because I’m getting too fat plus lumalaki na tyan ko kaya di na pwede yung masisikip na damit.

I promise myself not to buy maternity clothes; I need to be more practical this time. I need to save my money for my ultrasound and other tests that my OB required me, I must prepare the money for my delivery next year (hospital bills) and I need to invest more on my baby stuffs more than anything else.

I’m not maarte naman when it comes to my outfit, as long as mukha akong desente and professional okay na. Well, according to my friends blooming parin naman daw ako kahit ano pang suot ko.. Hhhhmmm.. maybe because I’m having a baby girl kaya blooming. Hehe. Anyway, I’m so blessed to have people who really care and loves me so much because of them I was able to wear decent clothes during this period. Di ko na kailangan pang bumili ng bago kc may mga biyayang dumadating sa akin.. Hehe..

So sharing with you guys, some of my outfit during my 2nd trimester.

Dress from my Mother-In-Law

Now, I’m on my half way to meet my baby girl. I’m so excited to see, hug and kiss her. I promise na pag labas ni baby, 2 na kami magpopost ng OOTD namin.. Waaahhh.. I’m so egggcited!!!

Happy Pregnancy!

After we settled our things at One Tagaytay Place, we opted to have our super late lunch. Our trip in Tagaytay will not be complete if we don’t taste the famous bulalo. As we drove around the city, we saw lots of bulaluhan restaurant but we decided to try again bulalo from RSM Lutong Bahay. This is where we always had our lunch or dinner whenever we visit Tagaytay.

We were there around 3pm, too late for lunch, so there were only a few people eating there. RSM employees greeted us warm smiles and nice hospitality, since RSM Lutong Bahay is one of the restaurants that have the perfect view of the famous Taal Volcano we chose to seat in the garden with a Taal Lake view. Well, the exterior of the restaurant was very inviting because of the very nice view.

Since both of us are so hungry, we immediately place our orders. I want hot bulalo while my husband is craving for inihaw na liempo. Kala mo tuloy sya yung naglilihi.. Hihi.

Inihaw na Liempo
Bulalo
Fresh Buko

I’m so sorry, but we lost our receipt during our escapade. Their bulalo is so tasty! They are generous in giving us unlimited soup for bulalo. As in malulunod ka sa sabaw plus the sebo! The grilled liempo was so tender, nothing special with this dish.

We were confused by how expensive the food was, knowing that we just ate 2 variants of food and 1 fresh buco juice. Waahh.. Talo pa namin kumain sa isang mamahaling restaurant. Well, it’s okay as long as we enjoyed our late lunch with  a scenic view of the Taal Lake and volcano which is totally priceless, it doesn't matter anymore plus it’s our 1stwedding anniversary kaya bawal mag kuripot.
