Our last stop for our 2nd day in Coron was the CYC Beach or Coron Youth Club Beach. This is the only public beach that we visit, a small island with white sand and very shallow waters in the middle of the ocean. As in halos nasa gitna ka na ng dagat, hanggang tuhod parin yung tubig.. Hehe.. This is very suitable for the youth. There were also mangroves seen in the island.

Personally, I didn't like this place like other island that we visited. I preferred to stay on the boat and watch the beautiful surroundings. I was surprised when I attempt to swim because there are lots of stones or something itchy on the water. Waahh.. But super kati ng water as in, maybe because there were too many people that time.

I wish the government should maintain the place clean, sayang naman kung mapapabayaan.. Nevertheless, I enjoy the scenery nearby the beach.

Warning: Yellowish and blurred pictures that resulted from a yellow- and low-lit themed restaurant! Plus, we only used my husband’s phone camera.

Our first plan in celebrating our first vday as married couple was to visit Rockwell, iwas sa dami ng tao sa greenbelt and Glorietta. However, we change our plan on the day itself because we’re not familiar with the restaurants that Rockwell offers so we opted to go at Glorietta instead.

I asked my husband that I want to dine at Friday’s because I’m craving for baby back ribs. Hhhmmm..  As we approaching TGIF at Glorietta, we saw a photobooth outside the restaurant. It is FREE for all those who dine at Friday’s. Yehey! Photobooth! Parang tulad nung last year vday celebration namin at Sentro!

A courteous and sexy waitress assists us in our seats and handed us the menu. I really love the interiors, dimly lit for a more intimate feel but at the same time feels homey and festive too. They have lots of space which is great for groups. Friday’s was crowded that time but happy to say that we got our seats immediately.

Hubby ordered one of their new offerings, the Rigatoni Brisket Bolognese -  hearty sauce with fork tender beef brisket simmered with red wine, thyme, garlic, oregano and plum tomatoes tossed with parmesan and fresh ground pepper. It was a small serving, but just enough for the two of us. The taste was just okay. ((Ugh! I’m so sorry! It's so hard to take pictures when it's dark)

New Rigatoni Brisket Bolognese Php 365.00

Since I was craving for baby back ribs, hubby ordered for Half Rack Ribs. This rack of pork ribs expertly cooked to ensure they’re fall-off-the-bone tender. They fire grill the ribs and glaze with their tangy barbecue sauce and served with coleslaw and crispy seasoned fries. I soooooo love the baby back ribs, they were soft and juicy! Plus I love the sauce! Superb!

Half Rack Ribs Php 675.00

Last but not the least, we also ordered Sizzlin’ Beef Fajita which comes with seared beef steak and was served on a bed of sautéed onion, seasoned strips of red and green bell peppers, accompanied with Colby cheese, sour cream, pico de gallo and three mini flour tortillas. I’m a little bit disappointed about the numbers of tortillas, since this entrée has enough steak, veggies and rice to easily fill at least 5 tortillas.

Sizzlin’ Beef Fajita – Php 655.00
(Other choices: Chicken Fajita, Shrimp Fajita and Combo Fajita)

Overall, we are happy to know that they are still serving their usual fares and the taste is consistent.

Happy ♥♥♥

Unfortunately, the photobooth was already closed when we finished our dinner. Boooo!!!! (**sad face**)

I believe that 2013 is another best year for me! Although, I had some problems during the 1st month, I trust God that he has a better plan for me.

I was bored with my hair style and I want a change! Yes! Feeling ko need na ng bongang make-over! Hehe. So last Sunday which marks our 7th wedding monthsary, we decided to call it “Pamper Day Monthsary Celebration!” Why? Because we treat ourselves from morning til night.

Our 1st stop, “Foot Spa and Haircut” courtesy of David Salon. This is my first time to have my haircut at this salon and I must say that I love the way they treat their customers. I love the staffs; they are very accommodating and approachable. The stylist approaches me and asked me what kind of hair style do I like, and I simply replied “Kayo na pong bahala, kung anong bagay sakin”.  ^__^

After 30 minutes, I was surprised when I saw my hair cut! Waahh… Too short! But my stylist explained to me what she does to my hair. She even explains to me that the stylishness was based on the shape of my face and my hairline on my nape. Ah okay, cge na nga.. Hehe.

At first, my husband was laughing out loud and keep on teasing me that I look like a “ANT!” what?! ANT?! As in Langgam?! Adik lang ang asawa ko db! But after seeing the likes and good comments posted on my Facebook wall, parang bumaligtad na ang mga sinabi nya.. Haha. Keso “You look so beautiful”, “Bagay yung gupit mo”, etc.. Parang ewan lang db.. Hehe.

Anyway, so presenting to you my new look.

Outfit for the day: Yellow Corset Tops (Tiangge), Skirt (gift from Karen), Sandals (Tiangge), Bag (Sophie)

The third part of our trip! If haven’t read the first and second part yet, click the link. If not, read on!

WARNING: This post has a LOT of AMAZING photos. ^__^

Banol Beach is a small beach perfect for a picnic that is why we headed here for our lunch. It is one of the most popular islands with finest sand at Coron.  It offers a small stretch of white powdery sand that reminds me of the sand at Station 1 at Boracay plus super crystal clear water. Remarkable!  To make it even cooler, limestone karst formation serves as a backdrop of this beach.

The view of Banol Beach being approached by the boat.

We were tired after the island hopping tour, but seeing Banol Beach was definitely worth it! Now we know why people are overflowing over Coron.  It is truly enchanting, I swear!

For our lunch, Darayonan prepared usadobong baboy, pritong isda, plain rice, pipino, bottled of water and banana. Picnic on a beautiful island! I love it!

Our hearty lunch by the beach!

After we had our lunch, hubby opted to have a pictorial first and take a dip in the crystal clear sea. I really love how I totally sink our feet into the powder sugar like sand. Yippeee!!!!

We ♥♥♥ Banol Island!

Welcome to Banol Island!
Honeymooners!
 Mr. Pogi!

Since its midday plus the fresh air slowly approaches our eyes, we took a nap in the sand under the tree. Amazing feeling! Very relaxing should I say. Overall, Banol Beach is sooooo beautiful. Although the beach was small, but a pristine and beautiful spot that everyone will fall in love with like what we did.

Exactly today, we celebrate our 7th wedding monthsary. Wow! It’s been 6 years and 7 months together is amazing! And exactly 7 months ago today, I married the most handsome, the sweetest and most loving man in the world! Hhhmm.. sino pa ba yun, e di, IKAW NA!

Actually, I have a question for you honey. Are you crazy about me or I’m crazy for you? Naks! Anyway, I just want you to know that I love you so much and I thank God every day for this wonderful marriage. I know that I am the luckiest woman alive because I have a very understanding, loyal, lovable husband. You know what, you know me so well and despite of my mood swings, you still love me and help me for putting up with this attitude. I know you've seen my worst and our of this world tantrums, talo ko pa yata yung bata pag sinumpong ako, but still you love me! You know how to make me calm down. Let’s stay this way forever please?

Honey, you are my love of my life, you are my treasure of life and I know that you will be a good father to our kids (soon). I always pray to God, thank him for all the blessings that we received and for his guidance to make our marriage grow stronger. I know, we’re young newlyweds and we will have lots of hitches along the way, but I pray that God will continue to bless our marriage, protect it from any worries and to have a happy ending.

Thank you honey for loving me in a very special way, for supporting me all the way.. You will always be my knight in shining armor, my prince charming. I am so blessed for having you in my life; you are one of the best things that happen to me! Thank you Lord for giving me the best husband! Thank you Lord, we are now 7 months strong in exploring married life and 6 years 7 months together is just the beginning of wonderful years to infinity! Cheers! Iloveyou so much!

Happy 7th Wedding Monthsary Honey!

Another late post.. Boooo!!!

We are scheduled to watch movie last Feb 8, but before that we decided to take our early dinner at Papa John’s. As the waitress assists us in our seats, I presented my company ID for 10% discount. Yahoo!!! (Papa John’s, Berjaya Hotel and Friendster are affiliated companies).

I was craving for salad that time so I ordered for Caesar Salad. It was a combination of Romaine Lettuce tossed in Caesar Dressing topped with Crispy Bacon, Croutons and grated Parmesan Cheese.

Caesar Salad Php 180.00

Hubby ordered for Mozzarella Sticks, a cheese rolled in bread crumbs and baked into perfection, serve with pizza sauce.

Mozarella Stick Php 129.00

He also wants to try their Carbonara. You have two options to choose from, Spaghetti or Penne plus it was served with Bacon, Fresh Mushrooms and Mozzarella Cheese in Carbonara sauce topped with Parmesan Cheese. There is no special with their Carbonara.

Spaghetti Carbonara Php 99.00

I tried their Sausage Mushroom Rosa Penne. Penne pasta with fresh mushroom and Italian sausage blended in Carbonara and tomato sauce. This pasta tastes good, it can also be good for two persons in case you want to share..

Sausage Mushroom Rosa Penne Php 220

As always, we were satisfied with our dinner at Papa John’s. And like what we always say, as long as the restaurant serves good food, we will always be coming back.

Happy Couple ♥

This is actually super duper late post.. I'm Sorry!

Last January 26, I asked my husband to stroll around Glorietta, and then all of a sudden we found ourselves roaming around Greenbelt. Haha. Ian suggested that we eat at Greenbelt 5 for a change, halos nakainan na namin lahat ng restaurant sa Glorietta eh..

We got to Pepper Lunch at around 9:50pm (super late dinner.. Booo!!) I was expecting that we were going to wait for 30 minutes because as you notice this restaurant has a long queue every day, but surprisingly we were lucky as we immediately got seated. Yehey!

Pepper Lunch is a restaurant originates in Japan in 1994, and they opened their first outlet here in the Philippines last May 18, 2008 at Power Plant Mall. This is not our first time to try this restaurant, we've been here countless of times before and I must say that I really enjoyed their food. Pepper Lunch is actually a do-it-yourself restaurant wherein you get to cook your own food over a sizzling plate in just one minute. (Sizzle it your way!)

Hubby ordered for Beef Yakiniku with Egg, the beef strips were juicy, tender and rightfully seasoned.

Beef Yakiniku with Egg Php 325.00

The plate came with the instructions on how to cook your food, it is actually written in a piece of circular paper that surrounds the sizzling plate. (Hurry! Quickly turn over the steak!)

I ordered for Beef Pepper Rice. The meat served is a bit raw but seasoned. The beef was not juicy unlike the one that my husband ordered but I find the pepper rice a bit overwhelming.

Beef Pepper Rice Php 198.00

It was a pleasure mixing the food and watching as the ingredients sizzle on the plate and smelling the delicious aroma which fills the air. Overall, we were both satisfied with what we had at Pepper Lunch, large servings and served sizzling hot is the best!

Happy Couple ♥

By the way, in the restaurant you can also find an instructional video placed on the wall to give you an ideal in cooking your food.

Surprise #1: The Cake

If some girls don’t like surprises, well change me because I love surprises and my husband knows that. This year, we celebrate our 1st valentine’s day as husband and wife. I’m so excited to celebrate it, kala mo naman di kami nag cecelebrate araw-araw.. Hehe.. But of course, iba parin pag 1st db.. Anyway, our valentine’s day started by baking cupcakes, so we fell asleep by 4am in the morning. Ian told me that he needs to wake up as early as 6am since they have a meeting with their client based in France. What the?! 6am? Hello, kakatulog palang natin ng 4am.. Adik ka ba? But since, our body is totally weak that time, we woke up by 7, I prepared our breakfast while hubby took a bath. I insist him to go ahead first because he needs to be at the office before 8am while I need to clean up our house before leaving.

I need to carry 2 big bags with 20 boxes of cupcakes from our house to office via commute on my own. Waahh.. Sorry, wala pa kaming car eh.. It’s so heavy as in, knowing that I wore beautiful orange-colored dress that time because we have a date after office. Booo.. When my officemate saw me, she immediately helped me and asked “Asan si Ian?”, I explained to her what happened and she can’t help but laugh, ang ganda nga naman ng suot ko tapos may bitbit akong 2 malaking bag.. Haha..

Moving forward, while I was talking to my friend who paid visit to our office and telling her about what happened this morning, I was surprised when the elevator open and I saw my husband carries 2 big box.. As in napa “WOW!” ako! My officemates, my friend, and even our security guard keep on teasing us..

Ate Ana – “Waaahhh.. Ang sweet naman, kinikilig ako..”
Kuya Rey – “Ano ba yan, ang dami naman langgam dito.”
Aloi – “Nawitness ko pa yung ka sweetan ni Ian..”

Cake from Estrel's

picture grab from my instagram (@rackell24)

I was shocked as in, I keep on saying “Sabi mo may meeting ka ng 8am, kaya ba binaon mo nalang yung long sleeves mo at nag tshirt ka lang pag pasok kc papawisan ka ngayon..” Waahhh… Kinilig kaya ako dun.. Hubby went at “Estrel’s” located in Quezon City, so imagine he woke up early just to pick-up the caramel cake and personally delivered in our office. Effort kung Effort.. **Kilig Much**

Surprise #2: The Flowers

I love flowers and Ian lovesto give me flowers every special occasion, anniversary, birthday, valentine’s day, etc. The day before Valentine’s day, he asked me if I want to receive a flower. I told him to just save his money for our plans this year but of course, deep inside saying “Syempre, valentine’s day yun kaya dapat may flowers ako..” Haha. Pakipot mode lang..

didn't expect any flowers from him that day because he already surprised me with the cake, but as I go back to my table I was surprised when I saw a box of roses.. Waahhh.. May cake na ko, may flowers pa.. Ikaw talaga Mr. Ian Villareal, napaka SWEET mo talaga..

I was so touched with the letter because my husband appreciates all the things that I've done for him. Simple but meaningful.

My One and Only Honey,

Thank you for the love and care. I will love you forever. Happy Valentine’s Day Honey. Iloveyou so much Honey.

Love,
Honey

Surprise #3: The Flowers for Him

If you think I didn't prepare something for him, you’re wrong! Because I arranged a little special for my husband. Before February, I already know what to give for my husband. Since Ian also loves flowers, I ordered online a half dozen of red roses to be delivered to their office. I want to surprise him, iba kaya feeling pag nagpadala ka ng flowers sa lalaki. This is not my first time to do it, as far as I remember, this is my 5th time to send flowers to him and happy to say that he likes it. I mean, para daw syang artista nung nareceived nya yung flowers dahil sa pang aasar ng mga officemates nya..  Hihi..

Will you be my Valentine?
Half Dozen of Red Roces

Surprise #4: The Card

When you’re married, it’s really hard to plan a surprise. This is a big challenge for me ever since I got married. Lalo na sobrang galing humuli ng surprise asawa ko.. Waahh..

Aside from flowers, I also love writing love letters. Yes! For almost 6 years of being together, I keep on sending love letters to Ian. How do I surprise him? While he’s taking a bath, I wrote a letter and put it inside his bag. Then, as he received his flowers, I told him that I have another surprise just look around the corner and you’ll find out what I am talking about. Haha. Pinahirapan ba naman daw.. Hehe.. After few minutes, I got a text message from Ian saying, “Nakita ko na! Kala mo ha!”.. Haha.. O db, galing maghanap ng asawa ko..

So I’m leaving you with these quotes:

“The moments of happiness we enjoy take us by surprise. It is not that we seize them, but that they seize us.” – Ashley Montago

“The Husband who decides to surprise his wife is often very much surprised himself.”

“Expect nothing, live frugally on surprise” – Alice Walker

P.S.
Sorry for the pictures, I only used my phone camera.

Finally, we officially launched our new business last Feb 14! Yes it’s Valentine’s Day! God is Indeed! Aside from our photobooth, Ian and I decided to add cupcakes on our business.

Before we launched our cupcake business, we gave our officemates and friends free taste of our products. Syempre gusto muna namin malaman kung pasado ba o hindi yung cupcakes namin before namin ibenta.. So right after our FREE Taste, we offered our promo price for our friends. Hihi.

Feb 13, hubby and I decided to go home early and prepare for 20 boxes of cupcakes! Yes! 20 boxes! Thank you God for the blessings! Kakasimula palang namin, ganon na agad kadami ang orders.. Alam namin na puyatan na naman kami nito but it’s okay, “No Pain, No Gain, No Glory”. We started to bake cupcakes by 8:30pm and ended by 4am! Imagine! Almost 7 hours of baking! Waahh.. But it’s okay, it’s another way of our bonding as husband and wife.. Hihi..

Before we come up with our official business title, we listed some of possible names that can describe our cupcakes. But after struggling ourselves for 4 days, we finally decided to use “Baby Cupcakes.. Cupcakes Made with LOVE”..  If you’re asking how we come up with this tag, it’s because we use “Baby Cakes” maker (ginawa nalang namin cupcakes instead of cakes) and all our cupcakes are made with love meaning hands-on kaming mag asawa sa pag ba-bake ng cupcakes.. Imagine ang kilig nun.. Hehe..

We have lots of friends who have passion in creative arts, so I asked our dear friend Otep if he can come up with our logo. (He also created our Picture Capture logo.) So after several pm, here is the final logo for our business.

We sell our cupcakes with 3-easy steps:

1.        Choose your cupcake flavored.
-          Chocolate, Red Velvet, Green Velvet, Vanilla

2.        Select your frosting.
-          Cream Cheese, Vanilla, Buttercream, Choco Buttercream, Peppermint

We always make sure that our cupcakes are freshly baked and sealed properly. So what are you waiting for? Place your orders now! Thank you.

P.S.
The price of cupcakes are depends on your finish product. Per box consist of 6 baby cupcakes.

After exploring Kayangan Lake, our next destination was the Twin Lagoon. Wohoooo!!!! The Twin Lagoon is an amazing limestone wall that divides 2 lagoons, this is also one of the many famous tourist spots in Coron, no wonder at all because of the eye—bulging scenery.

Since hubby already went at Coron way back 2008, he’s already familiar with the places that we visited. He told me that the first time he discover the Twin lagoon, there are no wooden stairs provided to reach the other inner lagoon. Now, Tagbanua’s community already improved the place and put small wooden deck providing easy access to tourist like us. So you have two options to enter in the inner lagoon; either to climb the wooden stairs over the limestone wall built by the caretakers or make a deep swim underneath to reach the central lagoon.

 Welcome to Twin Lagoon :)

Because we love adventures, we chose to go underwater to reach the other side. Yahooo! Of course, we used our life vest, we are not the best swimmers in the world noh. Hehe. (We regret for not bringing underwater camera during our trip.. Medyo di na kc maganda kuha nung camera namin.. Huhu.. But I promise, we will pay a visit again and by that time we already have waterproof camera! Promise)

Entering lagoon is breathtaking! My mouth always uttered “Wow! Ang Ganda!”.. It’s like the place gives a feeling of being isolated from the rest of the world because the open sea is not visible and you are surrounded by large cliffs of limestone. I felt that we were in another world. (Sorry we opted not to bring our cameras since there’s no place wherein we can put our things, it was only surrounded by clear calm water and nice rock formation.. Booooo!!! Sayang!!!)

According to Ate Steph, the water is a mixture of fresh and salty water. I felt in-love with the place! I want to stay here for 1 week!!! It was so quiet and peaceful.  Aside from the beautiful rock formation & stunning corals, what’s interesting about this place is there are areas in both lagoons wherein the temperature of the water changes, from lukewarm to cold. You will definitely wonder how is that possible. God is indeed!

We saw a floating bamboo rafts, wherein one can rest for a while and according to Ate Steph, it’s the boundary of the twin lagoon, before there was security guard who watches the island. Hopefully, this does not causes some garbage and pollute waters.

Did you see us?
This photo was taken outside the Twin Lagoon :)

Twin Lagoon - truly a wonderful place to see! This island is really awesome, the view is great! The entire lagoon was of course crowned by these majestic cliffs. After swimming around inside the lagoon for maybe around 35 minutes, we headed back to the boat for our next stop of the Banol Island.
