Certified Wife Cooked: Aristocrat Style Chicken Barbecue (Mrs. Villareal’s Version)

My husband loves Chicken and was craving for some inihaw last Saturday. Super duper pihikan kaya ng asawa ko pag dating sa pagkain kaya nga dapat every week may bago akong lulutuin sa kanya. (Remember, iba dapat ang food namin sa breakfast, lunch and dinner) Waahh.. Well, ganyan talaga pag independent and you have your own family na, you need to think of delicious food that your husband and children. E di lalo na cguro pag lumabas na and malaki na ang aming princesa.

Anyway, I really love the chicken barbecue in Aristocrat. I love the chicken itself and the sauce! Super yummy! And for sure when it comes to the best chicken barbecue, you will always seek the famous recipe prepared by the Aristocrat. I know there are lots of establishments have attempted to challenge the demand for The Aristocrat’s Chicken Barbecue but sad to say that until today, no other restaurant can beat the unique taste of this chicken. So I challenge myself last weekend if I can beat this famous Chicken Barbecue of Aristocrat by my own version. Hhhhmm..

I search for the ingredients in the internet but nothing suits my taste, wala lang para kasing may kulang or minsan naman parang sobra, so I told myself na bahala na asawa ko kung magugustuhan nya o hindi, basta I try my best na maging kasing sarap ng Aristocrat yung chicken na gagawin ko. Hehe.

Ingredients:
4 cloves garlic, crushed
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup pineapple juice
1/4 cup banana ketchup
2 tablespoons calamansi or lime juice
3 pieces chicken thighs and legs

Procedures:
  1. Combine the garlic, soy sauce, brown sugar, pineapple juice, banana ketchup, and calamansi juice.
  2. Add marinade to chicken in a bowl, cover the bowl with plastic wrap, and refrigerate at least overnight or if you want make it up to two days.
  3. Do not discard the marinade but set aside for drizzling.  Grill chicken over medium heat until cooked. Continue greasing the chicken.
  4. Serve fresh off the grill with rice and Enjoy! (Best combination with Java Rice)
Well, as per my husband super sarap daw and lasang Chicken Barbecue ng Aristocrat daw. I don’t know kung binobola lang nya ko pero when my mother-in-law taste it, pati sya napa WOW! Hehe. (In fairness, naubos yung sinaing namin that day ha.. hihi)

You know what, I’m so happy whenever my husband eats a lot. Worth it rin lahat ng pagod ko sa pagluluto. Hehe. Now, I’m thinking of another scrumptious dish this coming weekend. Yehey! So stay tune guys!
