SaturDATE @ SM Aura

Due to our budget constraint, we decided to just have a date during Saturday. Kung dati, halos thrice a week kami kung mag date ngayon once a week nalang or sometimes once a month nalang. We need to control ourselves in spending too much money in preparation of my delivery next year. Unting tiis nalang naman at pag labas ni baby, larga na ulit kami!

We really have no plans to go out last Saturday because we need to finish our laundry and we enjoy sitting down together while watching “It’s Showtime Kaloka-like Grand Finals” and “Eat Bulaga” at the same time. Until out of nowhere, my husband whispered “Maliligo na ko, san tayo punta ngayon?” then, I got surprised! “Huh? Parang wala naman sa plano na umalis tayo today, but since sinapag ka okay go ligo ka na.” Nakakatawa right? Pero deep inside, I’m so happy because we are going to have our usual date.

Inside the car, our conversation goes like this:

Ian – San tayo pupunta?
Me – huh? Kahit saan. Robinson’s Magnolia ulit? Or MOA?
Ian – Ah alam ko na, try natin puntahan yung SM Aura.
Me – San yun?
Ian – Alam ko sa may BGC yun eh.
Me – Alam mo kung pano magpunta dun?
Ian – Hindi, I Waze nalang natin.. ^_^
(very good ka talaga Mister!)
The heavy rains started to fall again and it’s so difficult for us to drive around the metro, zero visibility plus we’re not familiar at BGC. Nalibot na ata naming yung buong Global City to the point na pabalik na pala kami sa Ayala and still we’re not able to find SM Aura. In this kind of situation, we need to calm down and relax – after few minutes finally we saw a SM Aura signage. Woohoo!!! Finally, we reach SM Aura!

I love their parking lot because you don’t need to check one by one for the available slots, just follow the green light which indicates that the slot is available while red lights means slot is already occupied. O db color coded narin sila, very good SM Aura!

Since we’re both a first timer in the place, we are so excited to check every store inside the mall. Akala siguro ng asawa ko hindi ako buntis kaya kung makapaglakad kami, wagas! Haha. We checked the movie house for the schedule but as per my husband walang magandang movie that time, so gora ulit kami sa paglalakad.

After an hour, we felt the hunger so we opted to take our late merienda. Our 1st option is to try the slappy cakes but we don’t want to splurge for merienda, we settled dining at our all-time favorite fast food – JOLLIBEE! After our scrumptious merienda, we got a chance to try gelato ice cream (will post another entry for this one) and we continue to stroll again around the mall.

My husband purchased two pants at Uniqlo while I went home empty-handed. Boooo!!! Ikaw na ang madaya! Imagine, almost 1 hour akong naghintay sa kanya sa shop.. Booooo talaga! Anyway, we also visited my new favorite shop –Baby Company. (will post another entry for this one) then walk and walk and walk.

By 8:30pm, we decided to check for the best restaurant for dinner. We saw Yabu and Mesa but my husband was craving for some ramen that night. Waahh.. Sya ata naglilihi hindi ako eh, so we left SM Aura and decided to stroll Serenda. Walang kapaguran ang asawa ko sa kakalakad. #preggyproblem
