Malcolm’s Burger

Three days before our 8thwedding monthsary, Ian and I treat ourselves to something nice and tummy-filling.  He was craving for some burger that time and suggests trying Malcolm’s Burger located at the ground floor of PDCP Bldg. in San Agustin St., cor V.A Rufino St.  which is only a stone throw away from where I work.

Actually, we discovered the place one night after we had our “dessert time” at Chocolate Fire. To make the long story short, I guess my husband learned about Malcolm’s by reading forum about the best burger in the Philippines. The place is so small which can only accommodate 8 pax inside and 8 pax outside.

Malcolm’s Burger claims that it introduced wagyu burgers in the Philippines in 2006. This store offers different serving sizes for their burgers and classic favorites flamed-grilled wagyu burgers. Aside from their specialty (burgers), Malcolm's also offers other sandwich, pasta, chicken wings, rice meal, pizza, salad, and drinks.

Since I have a very limited appreciation of burgers, I asked my husband to order one specialty for me. So he chose Malcolm’s Classic Meal D which includes Wagyu Burger, chips and choice of soda.

Classic Meal D Php 160.00 (Malcolm’s Burger)
Chips

It’s a classic burger with lettuce, tomatoes, cheese and onion. The patty is juicy and tasty because they use thick slab of Wagyu beef patty and the serving is fairly big. Can you believe that I consume this burger in less than 5 minutes.. Waahhhh.. If you have small appetite like me, then this one’s for you.

My husband ordered for Bacon Cheese Meal D, It didn't taste any different from the classic. It just had that extra little something, which is the bacon. Haha. Well, my husband told me that he believes that the burger is better with bacon. Well, I guess he’s right; burger patty spiced up with cheese and bits of bacon is AMAZING!

He was also craving for Chicken Wings, this is not so good. It’s like they only fry the chicken wings and put hot sauce. Eeewww….

Chicken Wings Php 135.00

I’m thinking of giving their rice meal a shot next time. So, if you enjoy anything that’s wagyu, and is in the mood for burgers, do try Malcolm’s Burger!
