Certified Wife Cooked: Seared Chicken with Corn and Carrots

#WifeModeON again, and this time I will share you the recipe I got from panlasangpinoy. This dish is so easy and quick to prepare. I cooked this dish for our baon yesterday, and guess what? My husband, mother-in-law and officemates liked it. Kudos! Very good na naman ako! Hehe.

Ian – Ibang level na mga luto mo ngayon honey ha. Laging ubos baon ko sa sarap ng ulam ko..
Ate Ana – Masarap, Malasa and Malambot yung Chicken. Ikaw na talaga Mr. Villareal.

These are some comments from my very loyal fans. (Nagbuhat ng sariling upuan.. Haha.) But promise, the taste was so good and tasty. Thank you panlasangpinoy!

Ingredients:

  •       5 slices chicken breast, flattened by pounding

Procedures:

1.        Combine 1 teaspoon salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Mix well.
2.        Rub the mixture on the chicken slices. Let it stay for at least 1 hour.

3.        Meanwhile, melt butter in a pan.

4.        Add mixed vegetables. Sprinkle remaining ½ teaspoon salt. Cook for 3 minutes and then set aside.

5.        Heat a pan. Pour-in cooking oil or use cooking spray.
6.        Sear both sides of the chicken for about 6 to 8 minutes per side.

7.        Remove the chicken from the pan and arrange in a plate.
8.        Serve with mixed vegetables on the side. Share and enjoy!
