Ate Aissa work at Cebu Pacific as Reservation Officer and because of that, she has a privilege to have a free Domestic and International ticket as well, not only that we also have a free ticket from Cebu Pacific. So last May 21 - 23, we planned to have our 1st ever major out of town and visit the city of friendship, Bohol!
Bohol is the tenth largest island in the Philippines and lies in the middle of the Visayas. Bohol perhaps is the number one tourist spot in the Philippines. You can see here the oldest stone Church, the Baclayon Church. You can also visit the white sandy of Panglao Beach. Bohol for me is like a slice of heaven, the people are very friendly and hospitable that is why they called "The City of Friendship!".

We left our house around 6:30am, my sister check and have our free tickets approved by the management. By the way, this is the first time that JM and my mom to ride on a plane that is why they are so excited about this trip.

After waiting for 1.5 hours, we checked-in our baggage not knowing that we are only a chance passenger; you heard it right! Cebu Pacific give this privilege to the immediate family of their employee but no guarantee seats! What if there are no seats available for us, we will wait for another available flight schedule! Damn! We only have 10 minutes left before the boarding close, with the help of one staff form Cebu Pacific, we rush to the second stage running and running and running. We didn't fall in line for the payment of the terminal fee as well as in the final check-in of our hand carry. We run until we reached the gate where the bus that will carry us to the plane was waiting for us. I can't imagine that this will happen to us, hassle but I think positive that we will have this trip memorable.
You can see on my mom and JM's face, that is why I make sure to capture this one of a kind experience.

After our very tiring city tour, finally we settled for our rented house. The Chrisah Apartelle. Php 2,000.00 / night with 2 double size bed and 1 single size bed, with private comfort room, cable t.v and refrigerator. This appartelle is suitable for a small family like us.

Last Tuesday, Ian picked from office after his 2nd day of work at Petron Plaza. We decided to have dinner at our house, but unfortunately my mom didn't cook for dinner that is why I make a decision to have dinner outside. Since it's our payday that time, I told Ian that I treat him but I will decide where we are going to eat. I've been seeing this fun and catchy words of Chicken and Baboy, the so-called "Chic-Boy" restaurant, so we settled to try it. This restaurant offers the best Lechon Manok and Lechon Liempo. According to their website these two are marinated and stuffed with herb and spices and charcoal broiled to juicy and tasty perfection. It was only open last May 5 that is why the facilities were all in good conditions.
The place was only walking distance from our office, very accessible for both of us. Since it's only past 6 in the evening when we arrived at Chic-Boy, there are only few people who dine in the restaurant. It's a self-service that is why you need to prepare your order before facing the cashier. Their service was efficient; the crews are very attentive to their customers. They make sure that they will prioritize you and your entire request will be granted. This is a rice and soup all you can that is why we took advantage of it.

The waiter gave us first a hot Bulalo soup.
free bulalo soup
Ian ordered CB4 or the Liempo Meal. It includes rice, atsara and 1 piece of liempo.
Liempo Meal Php 99.00
I chose to try their Inasal version of Chicken. The chicken was a little bit sour, I think because of the herb they included.
Inihaw na Chicken (Petso part) Php 99.00
I add Ginisang Kangkong since I'm craving for some vegetables that time. I love the saute garlic on top; it is more appetizing when you mixed with a bagoong which I requested from the waiter.
Ginisang Kangkong Php 30.00
free bagoong (as per requested)
We ordered bottomless iced tea, since the price difference of a regular to bottomless is only Php 5.00; a very refreshing once you take a sip of their home made ice tea.

Bottomless Ice Tea Php 25.00
I can say that this restaurant will satisfy your starving with a very cheaper price; unlimited rice, bulalo soup and unlimited iced tea for a low-priced. I salute the owner of this restaurant for his great idea, a must try restaurant!

JM celebrates her 21st birthday last May 20. I was in the seminar for Executive Assistant at SMX Convention Center that time that is why my mom decided to celebrate at MOA. Ian and I decided to meet at the mall before we meet-up my family. When we arrived at our meeting place, my mom together with Ate Aissa and JM is already waiting for us, while my dad is currently at the parking lot. Since it's my mom treat, we give her the authority to choose where she wants to have our dinner. She prefer us to try the Mann-Ang which is the sister company of Mann-Hann. Mann-Ang was a tandem of Chinese and Filipino cuisine while Mann-Hann is renowned for its basic Chinese delicacies. My mom chose this place because she already tried this restaurant when Tita Connie treats their group last April during her birthday celebration.

My dad wishes to have Sinigang na Isda (Miso). He loves to have soup whenever we dine in any restaurant. I didn't like the flavor since they include ginger as main ingredients. Gggrr.. I love Sinigang na Isda each time my dad cook for us, he includes real tamarind which makes the soup very sour.

Sinigang na Isda (Miso) Php 285.00

My mom opts to have Tofu Sisig. I love it especially when it served sizzling. It's a combination of onions and chili that is why it's a little bit spicy but yummy.

Tofu Sisig Php 140.00

Since its JM special day and according to the oldies, you need to have at least 1 noodles during the celebration for longer life, so my mom order 1 for us. She chose to try the Seafood Pancit Bihon which is one of their specialties.

Seafood Pancit Bihon Php 240.00
My mom adds one order of Crispy Pata since she is craving for that. This one I really fell in love with, I love the crispy skin that includes in their servings with matching sweet and little spicy sauce which makes it mouth-watering.
Crispy Pata Php 380.00
We love sweet and sour fish that is why we order 1 for us. There is no special thing about the dish but the taste was good and lip-smacking should I say, Trust me!

Sweet and Sour Fish Php 240.00

Can we ever forget to order 2 platter of rice, of course not!

Plain Rice Big Php 100.00

happy family :)

We ended up the birthday celebration by having picture taking outside the mall.

Happy Birthday JM!
