Father's Day at Max Restaurant

Last Sunday, I celebrate Father's Day with my family. Our family settled to hear mass around 7pm and have our dinner celebration at Max Restaurant. Actually I suggested to try the Eat all you can promo that they offer but unfortunately, we didn't avail the promo because it doesn't fit for us. All I know is that eat-all-you-can whole chicken which is good for 1 whole family like us but upon asking the waiter about this promo he clarify that the promo is eat-all-you can but served on a quarter size good for 1 person only, no sharing. That's too expensive if we all avail that promo that's why it good to order 1 whole chicken instead.

We've been trying Max's many times; actually this is also one of our favorite restaurants since they offer the best chicken with their home made seasonings. My mom choose to order Sizzling Tofu, it is tofu cubes with chopped onions, red and green bell pepper glazed with special sauce. It was served on a hot sizzling plate topped with chili.

I added Chicken Sisig. I have no idea about this dish but it's a combination of Max's fried chicken and chicken liver chopped to bits and cooked with a serving of onions, celery and mayonnaise. Like Sizzling Tofu it was served on a sizzling plate topped with sliced chili fingers.

My mom ordered Pancit Bihon. There is no special thing about this pancit but I really love the flavor.

Since we get disappointed with their promo, my dad choose to have 1 whole family chicken. The chicken that they offer was original and very classic. It is golden fried top on perfections with unique blend of their secret recipes. I heard my auntie saying that "Kaya pala love na love to ni Piolo dahil talagang sarap to the bones!" Haha. I really laugh when I heard that but I agree to her statement that the chicken here is "Sarap to the bones!".

JM is craving for Fried Lumpiang Ubod so she requested me to treat her one. I told her to order 2 instead since I know my mom also likes it.

After our spectacular dinner, I opt to have dessert. So I ask my mom and dad as well as JM and Tita Grace if they want to grab one. JM insist to have Chocolate Ice Cream while my Tita Grace wish to have Vanilla Ice Cream. Since I really love Buko Pandan, I ordered one for me.

Upon getting the bill, I ask one waiter if they have any discounts for Ayala Card holder, I was upset when I heard that they only give 1 Buko Pandan for the card holder. Waahh.. If only I ask them ahead of time, I wasn't able to purchase 1 order and grab the free 1 dessert instead, but do I have any choice? I get the free dessert and let my sister and dad to eat it.
